Breakfast was very good and able to sit outside. Spectacular view and square across the street is a prime sto on all tours. Central location in Alfama

Had a lovely stay at Pousada in a comfort room. The room was clean and welcoming and it was so nice to have a little outdoor space to relax in. The room came with a stocked bar fridge, personalized welcome letter, and pastel de natas to enjoy. We were happy to find a safe to store our valuables in. We appreciated the updated bathroom with nice big rain shower head and nicely scented shampoo/soaps. The staff was always so friendly, each time we ran into someone new on shift. They were accommodating and genuinely worked to improve our stay. The breakfast- I would say our slow mornings enjoying the buffet in the dining room or sunny patio area was one of the highlights of our vacation. Listen to the reviews and believe me when I say the breakfast is fantastic. Fresh baked bread/pasteries, cheeses, many fruits, warm veggies, potatoes, bacon, eggs, jams, and more. All good quality selections and very satisfying. Not to mention Portugal’s fresh orange juice as a staple. Self serve coffee station open all day long. The location is a perfect starting point for long days of exploring the streets of Lisbon. It’s central to everything. Great views of the city steps away. On the tram28 path for convenience. Tuk tuks right out of the door. Patio restaurants too. I highly recommend Pousada Alfama. We stayed as a couple and would revisit again and recommend in a heartbeat. Exceptional location and amenities galore! Room includes a drink (cherry liqueur), Portuguese tarts (delicious!), the full contents of the mini-bar (soda, water, beer), and an extraordinary buffet (with champagne!). We arrived early, and since our room was available, they allowed us to check right in. The location is as central as can be with the 28 and 12 trams running right in front, a skip across the street to a beautiful panoramic view and the Alfama district as well as the route to the castle just around the corner. Rooms were modern and comfortable and prices reasonable. I’d definitely stay here again!

Every staff member was very friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast had many options and also offered cook to order as you desired. Overall a wonderful boutique hotel with amazing views toward the river.

Loved this first stop on our Portugal trip. Great area (quiet, picturesque, walkable, good restaurants), beautiful hotel, attentive staff, lots of amenities and extras.

We loved the location! I was sure about it but it was perfect. So many restaurants and some shopping around the area. Easy to get a tuk tuk to other neighborhoods. Room was clean and the staff was great. I never received my bottle of wine but that won’t stop me from giving it 5 stars.

It’s in the heart of Alfama, or old Lisbon, with amenities nearby. Clean rooms, very friendly staff with a good breakfast.

We enjoyed our stay here very much. The staff were exceptional, the location was perfect for what we wanted to experience in Lisbon and the hotel had all of the amenities we needed for a comfortable 3 day stay.
