Wonderful, clean, and relaxing stay!

Good parking clean friendly

Our stay was fine. Our room was clean and well appointed, with a comfortable king sized bed. We were surprised to find that there were no robes to wear to the pool. At the pool there was one shower in the ladies washroom, with no place to change after showering. This facility was not what I have experienced in a Marriott previously. To be fair the pool was a good size and very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. However, the check in and checkout procedures were slow. The software was so slow and our room was not ready at check-in time even though the hotel did not seem to be busy. We were given a room on a lower floor although we had booked a room on a higher floor. This change was not given at a lower rate. In conclusion, the hotel provided a comfortable room and the location in downtown Nanaimo was convenient, but service could be smoother.

Only thing sofa bed was not comfortable at all

Clean room and Spacious and most of all thank you for the room with the million dollar view! However, during our stay the one elevator isn’t working and we have to wait for long.

Rooms were stuffy as windows did not open. Only one working elevator that made it very challenging

The parking is not very convenient. But everything else was good.

Nice new hotel. The shower was well designed. Due to our schedule, we went to a coffee shop about a block away that opens at 7AM and across the street, Gabriel's cafe that opens at 8am, which was excellent.

Location is good. But one of the female front desk staff members checking us in was snarky. That was a disappointment. And considering the high cost of the room during peak tourist season, the room was barebones, like a basic motel room with no toothbrush or toothpaste. I encourage you to consider other hotels

High quality, modern hotel. Engaging and friendly staff. Great pool and hot tub. Definitely one of the best places to stay in local area. Will definitely be back again.

The place is new and clean and well maintained. The room’s comfort and style exceeded my expectations. Great bed, great shower. And super helpful staff.
