Biggest initial impression was the smell of old oil and fish from the water. They need to clean up the mess in the water near the restaurant. Room was nice for the cost. No one showed up to provide breakfast this morning even though the sign said 8 am. So we went hungry. Left the room key on the door handle as no one showed up so we could check out. At dinner, they were out of every menu item I selected. 5th choice for dinner. Lucky, there was only one other menu item left.

Was alone most of the time, only person running the restaurant was around. Good food. Not really good beach, hard rocks underfoot in water. Town doesn’t have much to say for itself. But if you want tropical quiet then this is the place.

Our stay there was VERY enjoyable. We had a clean, comfortable room though it could use some updating. Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Excellent location - quiet yet close to town. Tasty food with breakfast being the best. I would definitely recommend this hotel to other travelers.

Great spot for scuba diving, amazing staff, family owned and operated dive facility and hotel. Restaurant on site with delicious food.

A very sweet and wonderful family runs this hotel with an excellent restaurant and terrific dive center attached. Just a few minutes drive from the center of Portobelo.

We really liked that the staff was so helpful, friendly and outgoing especially to their non spanish speaking guests. The food was awesome, the beds so comfortable, the surroundings quiet and the views unbelievable.

The property is clean. The staff are very nice and helpful. Rooms are large and spotless.

Bel emplacement Pas de plage a l hotel,pas vraiment facile de se baigner sur place, il faut louer un bateau qui nous emmene a une plage 30$ jusqu a 3 personnes Repas sur place chers, vous pouvez manger les memes plats a moitie du prix au village ( 3 km) Chambre tres basic mais propre Personel intentioné

Aucun véritable accueil dans cet établissement. Propriétaires hautaines sans considération pour leurs clients ne pensant qu’à escroquer les touristes sur le prix des tours. Quant à la chambre sans aucun confort et minimaliste ne vaut pas plus que 40$ et non 80$sans petit déjeuner inclus .. Seul point positif la gentillesse des cuisinières .
