It really was a wonderful stay. The place is an excellent location. We had a fantastic room. The staff was really magnificent. Very professional very accommodated. Very informative about the activities and what to do. They have a very good breakfast. I think is an excellent place to stay everything is very close by. They are very good restaurants around very quiet place. Very nice. I truly highly recommend this place one thing is I will recommend to have some cups of coffee in the room because they have a coffee maker, but they don’t have the coffee cups but otherwise he was absolutely fantastic. Like I mentioned I think is ideal place to stay with an absolutely beautiful view toward the mountains.

Great location in Grindelwald for all activities. The location was clean, served a great breakfast and had a wonderful & attentive staff. The property views were spectacular!

The staff went above and beyond from the second I walked in to check in up until I checked out.

Hair in the bathtub, old horrible pillows with rough shams instead of pillowcases. We requested extra pillows and received terribly stained old pillows. No A/C, bug bites from bunk beds overnight - worst experience ever. No ammenties such as a mini fridge or microwave, and could not buy ice anywhere. Only redeeming factor was the balcony with view. We checked out a day early due to accommodation misery.

This was a FANTASTIC stay in Grindelwald, the location was perfect, the room was clean and spacious, great restaurants and bars around with good access to public transport. Parking and breakfast was a great added bonus! We paid extra for a Mountain View and it was well worth it. The staff were so so helpful, they gave us recommendations, were accommodating and friendly during breakfast, check-in and checkout. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone travelling to Grindelwald.

Seriously, amazing place and amazing stay. The staff there are very nice and helpful. You get a free continental breakfast each morning which was lovely. The room was spacious and clean. It’s located in the heart of the town, which was perfect for walking to restaurants, bars, shops and a short walk to Grindelwald first and Pfingstegg cable cars for the zipling and tobaggan. We didn’t have a balcony in our room but they set up a patio in the back with amazing views of the mountains where you can hang out and relax. Can’t recommend Tschuggen enough!

Wow! This hotel was such a great find on Expedia!! We booked 8 months ahead of our trip! For being centrally located on the main drag in Grindelwald, the price of this hotel was unbeatable! People don’t stay in Grindelwald due to the cost/night, but this find is relatively budget friendly, super clean, and comfortable, with breakfast included. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful! The view from our room was absolutely breathtaking (north face of the Eiger)!! I’d go back to this hotel in a heartbeat! It’s an easy walk from the train station, bus station and First Mtn Gondola. All other activities like Jungfraujoch and Glacier Canyon are super easy to get to by walking, bus, or train!

Wonderful views from our room! very close to the train station. Lots of shops and dining options nearby. There’s also a coop by the train station. staff were all great! Bfast is same everyday but enough variety to satisfy. The only thing I was uncomfortable with were the bedsheets. It felt rough for me and scratchy but this might just be personal preference. Also, not sure about the noise upstairs. We were supposedly on the top floor but we can definitely hear footsteps. Other than that, we we’re happy and would definitely stay here again when we come back!

Amazing stay. Near train station just a short walk up a sloper pathway. Lotsa shopping to do along the main street where hotel is located. The host was helping and friendly. Good to recommend to othersb.

This is a small family owned hotel but very well managed. It has basic amenities but the view from my balcony is excellent. It is very well located in Grindelwald.

Centrally located in Grindelwald. Spectacular views, if you book a room facing the mountains. Quaint 1980s feel to the place, classic and vintage.

Lovely family room /apartment decorated in tbe traditional Swiss style. Friendly host, simple but delicious breakfast, and excellent central location.

View from my balcony was spectacular even the room was small and little outdated I didn’t mind at all because of the view of Eiger. Friendly staff.
