3rd visit to the Moxy and each has been a fabulous stay. All staff we encountered were excellent, friendly, knowledgeable and working extremely hard during a hot bank holiday weekend. I was incredibly impressed with how clean they keep common areas, even sweeping the outside pavement! Breakfast was very nice, lots of options. Rooms were brilliantly cooled by strong aircon, amenities in the rooms are brilliant, comfy beds. Decent water pressure even on the 5th floor. It is rare I think a hotel can get away with charging more.. but the Moxy could. Plenty of big car parks within a 5 minute walk. This is my preferred choice of budget hotel when staying in Plymouth.

Excellent all round place to stay. Will be even better once the regeneration of the area is complete. Really enjoyed our overnight stay.

TV service was poor and no Cromecast service. On duty Team Leader had an attitude and would not look into it suggesting I do a hard power reset myself.

Just stayed for one night at the Moxy last night in a Queen size room but would have certainly been happy to have stayed for longer if required. Just 3 years old, the hotel still looks fresh and well cared for. The place had a happy vibrant buzz with cheerful, polite and friendly staff. The rooms are modern, contemporary and stylish, with firnishings and fittings that maximise the space but are easy on the eye. They contain all you need for a relaxing stay. Perfectly clean with good quality pillows, a comfortable mattress and the whitest fluffiest towels I have seen in a long time. Conveniently situated for easy walking access to Plymouth city centre, the Barbican and the Hoe with parking both onsite ( small ) or very close by in Brunel Way car park in the road opposite ( 12 hours for £6.50). We didn't eat on site but did use the bar ( great night service) and were told that they could supply us with plates and cutlery if we wanted to order a takeway via Deliveroo. All in all a great stay and we would definitely stay again and use the Moxy chain in other cities.

The breakfast menu was good. Lots of variety to fit all pallets and depending on how much you wanted to indulge! All the staff were helpful and polite. The food and drink at the good value and varied. Parking was accessible for the 5 days of our stay. Loved the decor and football table!

For a 3* hotel, I can't fault this place. Room was clean and comfortable with modern decor, staff were super efficient and friendly without being brusque, communal bar / breakfast area was really cozy - would happily stay again.
