Next to a church - quite loud church bells many times in the day. Very steep slope to walk up from lower street. Did not use the jacuzzi so cannot rate that. Lots of good restaurants 5 minutes walk away, fresh seafood. Funchal airport quite close by - took us 15-20 minutes by uber. Accommodation was good, for a family we were very comfortable, did not do any cooking, just used the fridge, kettle and toaster, and the 1 pedestal fan was very useful and necessary too.
