On arrival it was a quick check and the lady on reception was pleasant. £10 a night to park the car. We arrived in our room which was small, dated, hard bed and not to our taste but it’s Blackpool and we thought we would only stay for 1 night instead of 2. At 2am we had been out, had some food and we were just going to sleep when water started coming through the ceiling on the head of our bed. I went and found a staff member and I was worried for a while as he said there were no more rooms! He did find us one and it was a lot better. Good size, more tastefully decorated, sea view, we couldn’t complain. We ended up staying both nights it was comfortable and clean. We didn’t eat in the hotel. If you want to go into town it is a 10 minute walk. My only negative (not the water, it wasn’t the hotels fault) is they didn’t come and apologise for what happened and had we not only just gone to bed and been fast asleep I perhaps would have been annoyed. A small gesture goes a long way and an apology would have been appreciated

Staff couldn't do enough for us, property was nice and clean and well kept

We recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a good experience. The staff were extremely helpful and honestly couldn’t do enough for you. We had two rooms, and while one was perfectly fine, the other was not up to standard on arrival — it smelled of smoke and felt very old and worn. The manager was fantastic, though, and immediately arranged a room change for us, which we really appreciated. It’s worth noting that not all rooms are refurbished, despite what the website suggests, so it’s a bit of a mixed bag depending on what you get. Breakfast was really good, with the team even offering extras if you wanted them. Prices in the bar were also very reasonable. Overall, great staff and good facilities, just be aware of the room variations.

The room was clean, well decorated and spacious. We appreciated the drinks and biscuits available in the room on arrival. The entertainment was not to our liking it wasn't appealing to a young family. Breakfast was ok I would have preferred hash browns to potatoes. We had a lovely break away but would look for somewhere closer to the busier parts in future as it was a lot of walking. Overall we had a great time 7/10

Bit old room done in pink. But breakfast good and bar open late. TV was turning itself off. Helpful staff and amenities. Good place to stay

The Parkhouse is a Lovely Hotel.

Suite we stayed in was very, very spacious, nicely decorated & very clean, but furnishings were quite worn. Loads of wardrobe & drawer space. Bathroom was huge & a bit dated, but again very clean. Can't comment much on the facilities, as we didn't have breakfast or use the bar & entertainment. However, would we stay again? Absolutely!

From start to finish the hotel team made the stay excellent(few strange looks) b it we was dressed up for rocky horror so to be expected( ha ). My biggest gripe is we booked with hotels.com and I saw no mention of a security deposit. Only discovered this two days before arriving. £150 despot before you check in is a tad steep but I paid it and it was repaid a week later. I would say that given the way the world is now £150 is a lot of money that would go towards a family holidays spends not a deposit so I imagine this turns a fair few people off booking this hotel ehich is a shame because it’s a nice stay. I only imagine they pre-fine you to keep it this way.

Some rooms very dated and not like advertised! Staff very accommodating in moving me to a more updated room. The room was better but bathroom was poor in terms of the quality of shower etc. Very poor water pressure and it was impossible to get the shower temperature to a consistent one. Bedding and towels were clean and fresh and room was lovely and quiet. Breakfast was really good. Cannot fault the staff, all very friendly, appeared to enjoy their jobs and very helpful which is extremely refreshing these days!

Breakfast was lovely. Zoe and the staff are pleasant they would do anything you ask of them room was nice and clean beds could do with them to be a bit bigger toilet is a bit crammed with being next to shower which doesn’t give you much rooms.

Very friendly staff(Becky on the bar was lovely).Room was great with plenty of tea,coffee and hot chocolate available.Great choice of drinks on the bar.

Breakfast was lovely however, we were in the Elizabeth Suite which was urgently in need of updating and a good clean. The bed was horrendous, like sleeping on a brick. It would have been nice to have a coffee machine in the bar area for when the bar was closed in the mornings. Be warned, parking in horrendous when its busy. Had to park my vehicle well away from the hotel due to lack of spaces.

Hotel clean. Not as disabled friendly as we thought. But we managed. And staff did offer to move our room. Staff amazing. Especially hazel from the breakfast room. Entertainment staff brilliant. And bar staff very helpful. Fantastic price.

Had a lovely stay. Room was very spacious with a lovely sea view and extremely clean. Breakfast was lovely. Plenty of choice and speedy service. Reception staff extremely polite & helpful aswell as the evening entertainment staff. Very friendly, funny & polite. Really enjoyed the acts that were on.
