The breakfast area was very congested and somewhat confusing. Very loud!!!!
Breakfast was gross creepy runny eggs. However, the location was perfect, walk to everything.

Great location and very clean and modern property with a hard to find breakfast included. Very walkable to many major sites. In a slightly more quiet neighborhood, not a party district.

Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Just need to watch your timing as it can get very busy. Front desk staff was extremely helpful. Especially when our Bolt ride bolted leaving us stranded
Would highly recommend

All the staff were helpful, friendly & professional - from the front desk personnel to the dining room and custodial personnel. I felt very comfortable staying here. The rooms are clean and well appointed. The hotel is a half block away from the Metro and buses and within walking distance to other sites. The airport bus is a Metro stop away - very convenient location.

Nice room just a bit small.
Lovely bedding, nice bathroom, nice to have conditioner. Reception staff very helpful. Great location.
Downside had outside view of bird droppings, TV channels were unstable, tea bags etc only on first day of stay, breakfast needs more Gluten Free items eg cereal.

Basic but comfortable room with en suite
Well equipped. Breakfast did not include any fresh berries- disappointing.
Otherwise, well situated and good value

We had reserved a room with two twin beds but the room we were given had one Queen and
one Full bed. The Full bed had almost no mattress. We asked Housekeeping to bring us a
mattress topper and whatever they supplied was not much. I ended up sleeping on top of the
duvet (still way too stiff) and covering with a sheet.
The room was very cramped. The only place to sit was on a bed. If we’d had two twin beds as
reserved, there would have been room for a chair or two.
The bathroom was nice but needed a couple more towel hooks.
The breakfast buffet was very nice but although they had gluten free bread, they had no means
of toasting it (other than toasting it with the regular wheat bread; bad idea.)
Finally, Hampton needs to post instructions on how to use the elevators. The keypad on the
lobby floor allows you (one person or one group) to call the elevator. But if a second
person/group climbs on, they are unable to add another floor. It’s very confusing for people
who haven’t seen this setup before. Each and every guest has to figure it out for themselves.
Very frustrating.

Situation was excellent, staff were very helpful, bar one day housekeeping was overlooked, Sunday light dinner meal was mucked up with my friend being served part of my meal, and my meal had missing bits. Breakfast was ** stars because fruit was tinned, no bacon, no lemon for tea and limited choices of cereals. Air conditioning was excellent and easy to operate. Overall we thought it was very good.

The hotel is centrally located within the city centre of Budapest. There is an M3 train station about 5 minutes away and the St Stephens Basilica (10 min) and West End shopping mall (20 min) are a short walk away. The hotel and room was clean and there is a fridge inside the room. Buffet breakfast is available daily with a good variety of cold and hot items. Breakfast is definitely better than what is available at Hampton Inn in the US.
The food and beverage staff were always replenishing food items and cleaning tables and clearing trays to keep the dining area tidy in the morning. Housekeeping is available everyday. There is a gym on the ground floor although we never used it as we walked everywhere during the day.
Minor complaints - there is no plug in the bathroom for hairdryer, you need to use this outside the bathroom which makes it noisy for others in the room. The room is on the small side and there is only a mobile stand for a laptop, there is no desk and chair. There are limited plugs in the room so need to position the mobile stand near a plug, and sit on the bed if you need to plug in your laptop.
Overall I enjoyed my stay at Hampton and would consider staying here again on my next trip to Budapest.
