Great place for a few nights. Would stay again.

I am writing to express my strong dissatisfaction with my recent stay at Conca Bella Boutique Hotel. Upon check in, we were not initially given the upgraded room we expected in addition to the VIP perks for food. On the second day, staff informed us there had been a misunderstanding and moved us to a different room, which they described as an upgrade. However, this new room turned out to be significantly worse. The room was extremely hot due to direct sun exposure throughout the day. We turned on the air conditioning and waited, but after 20 minutes, the temperature had not improved at all. When we attempted to contact reception, we discovered that the room did not have a telephone—something I have never experienced in any hotel before. I had to use my personal phone to call the front desk, only to be told that the “upgraded” rooms do not have functioning air conditioning, as these units are only turned on during the summer months. This was very frustrating, especially considering that the standard room we were originally in did have working air conditioning. It is unacceptable that a supposed upgrade would offer fewer basic amenities than a standard room. Given that temperatures were already quite high, it made sleeping extremely uncomfortable. Additionally, when we tried to open the window for ventilation, it would not close properly afterward. As a result, mosquitoes entered the room and bit both me and my husband multiple times, further worsening our stay.

Stayed 11 nights as I was working local. Staff were excellent and so friendly food was amazing and will definitely stay again next time. Was made to feel very welcome

We loved this hotel and location! The host was very accommodating and easy to get in touch with. We loved it. We would totally stay again.

We had a lovely experience staying at Conca Bella. We arrived later than expected and were so grateful to be seated for dinner at the hotel restaurant - despite it being quite busy. All of the food was fantastic and seasonal. We could not have asked for more.

We have been visiting Lugano for the last 10 years and are totally surprised how come we have never heard of Conca Bella until this time! Its a really charming, family run hotel, and is home to a Michelin 1-star chef. We ate at the regular (non-Michelin star) restaurant and the food was very good! The location at the top of the hill is really charming and we will certainly be making this our "home" in the future! You do need a car and google map to find the place though, but once you find it, its very easy to get to, though not with public transport.

Staff was really helpful and kind. Locations was good and it was easy to find free parking around!

Jederzeit gerne wieder. Die Umgebung mit Wanderwegen um den Breggia Fluß und die Nähe zum Comer See sind Argumente für diese Location.

Zimmer nicht ganz sauber! Personal nicht ganz so freundlich! Frühstück ?

Uns hat alles ausgezeichnet gefallen, von a-z hervorragend. Beim nächstenmal wollen wir dann das Abendessen und evtl. eine Weindegustation erleben. R. und A. Wehrli

Sehr aufmerksames Team. Schönes Zimmer mit kleinem Balkon, sehr ruhig gelegen. Tolles Frühstück und sehr guter Service. Unbedingt auf der Terrasse einen Aperol Spritz genießen!
