"For a 4-star hotel, the experience was below expectations. The room had tea and coffee, but the minibar/fridge was completely empty, without even a bottle of water provided. In the bathroom there was only shower gel and soap, without other basic products such as body cream or other cosmetics that you usually find in this category of hotel. Small details make the difference, and they were missing here." At 09:45 you sit and wait to make yourself a coffee at a small machine at the reception, considering that the hotel has dozens of rooms and a bar and restaurant, everything is closed

Very pleasant front desk personnel particularly Magnus and Carolina. They massively extended our check out to allow us time to rest and even go check out the sno ski place before leaving. Breakfast was exceptionally great with many different varieties. Surely, recommend!

We stayed here while visiting Oslo. It's only 15-20 minutes on the train and then a 15 minute walk up the hill. The stay was amazing and the best part was the included breakfast. One of the best buffets I've had. So many options and they were all delicious. Our room was great too - comfy beds and large bathroom. Would definitely stay here again.

I stumbled upon Thon Hotel Snø after a not-so-fulfilling company lunch, simply looking for a good coffee and maybe some cake. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed for its break, and while there was free coffee in the lobby, I was really craving a cappuccino. I approached a tall, handsome gentleman—whom I assumed was part of the hotel staff—to ask what time the restaurant would reopen. He kindly told me it would only open at 4:30pm, but since I was leaving at 4, I thought I had missed my chance. To my surprise, he smiled and said, “Let’s get you that cappuccino on the house.” Not only that—he checked with the chef, who was about to start a meeting, and the chef immediately went to the kitchen to prepare some dessert for me. I was truly touched. I wasn’t even a guest at the hotel, yet everyone went out of their way to make me feel welcome. From this gentleman’s kindness, to the chef’s thoughtfulness, to the waitress who served me with such warmth—the hospitality was simply outstanding. This is the kind of experience that stays with you. The next time I visit Oslo, this will definitely be the hotel I choose to stay in. The world would be a much better place if more people were as wonderful as the team here. A big thank you to everyone at Thon Hotel Snø—you truly made my day! ❤️
