Rapid response the time we needed help

Only problem, which I failed to verify, was no elevator. Our age and heavy bags were a challenge for the 3rd floor suite.

Perfect for our visit and very responsive host to my questions. Thank you.

We were locked out one night, so we had to get another hotel with no luggage! The Landlord for the property is almost NEVER THERE and we were lucky to get into the building when someone else opened the outside door, and our password for the room itself worked. We carefully got all of our property out of the building so we could change our hotel for the rest of our first stay there. We had another booking (made at the same time as the first) that was scheduled for 8 days from now. We cancelled our second booking ... and I expected there would be a penalty for that cancellation: IT WAS THE ENTIRE PAYMENT MADE several months ago, so there was NO MONEY REFUNDED!!! We think this is ridiculous, but there is nothing we can do. Obviously we will NEVER use this hotel again, even though we will be back next week.

It was absolutely lovely from beginning to end! We loved the apartment in every way! The view was beautiful. The curtains really blocked out all the light which we appreciated. We only have two small suggestions. A coffee table would have been nice to rest a drink on while sitting on the couch. It would be great if there were more steaming options than just Netflix. But overall the place was truly a delight!

We enjoyed the area, in the heart of Reykjavik. We understood that parking was included in our booking. When we arrived there was no parking spot for our apartment. After communicating w one of the contacts, we were told that parking was only for 4 person apartment bookings. I had to text back and forth for the first day, which was frustrating since I had to retell my problem w diff contacts w each text. but I was happy that each person who texted was helpful. We were lucky that no one was booked in the 4 person apartmt so we were able to use that parking spot for a few days but still had to find street parking for the last day. Not an easy task! The property was clean except for the windows being old and chipped. The bed was comfortable. We needed earplugs since we were on top of the main entertainment street but we expected that.

The apartment was very nice and comfortable for our stay. The location is near several good restaurants and a grocery store. Downtown Reykjavik is only a 5-10 minute walk away. The stairs were a bit steep and the parking was very tight, but at least it has onsite parking - most other places I saw seemed to make you find parking on the street.

Excellent property in a prime area. Check in was smooth and communication with owners was easy. Only thing to be aware of is it is slightly tricky stairs to access, so have to be comfortable with stairs and carrying your luggage up them. Overall will stay again.

All was great , the only flaw was lack of extra pillows and towels

the property was very nice and well-kept. It was also within walking distance of many different stores and restaurants. While the check-in time was a little late in the day, communication back and forth about the ability to check in early was great.

Nice property, easy to access, and a very comfortable living space.

Mostly perfect. Room had a decently stocked kitchen and centrally located to the downtown area. Room didn't have parking but it was a sport walk to free parking so that wasn't an issue. The room had almost everything it needed to to feel comfortable and the convenience was stellar. The only two minor things I would note is, since we were in a room with a full bed and a table, it would be nice if there were chairs for the table (not much options for if you're eating in the room). That and maybe a few more things in the kitchen for cook wear (like a baking tray or tongs). Otherwise a lovely room for the price, and I'd consider booking again for my return trip.

Parking availability was misleading. Not available for parties of two or less so you need to make your own arrangements. No elevator so be prepared to hike several sets of stairs with luggage. Located right on main strip so noisy in the evenings and overnight.

I gave everything on my review an excellent rating of 5 stars but on a scale of 1 to 5 I would give communication a 10! I so much appreciate the tools that i received from them to help me navigate my time in Reykjavík. The apartment was like the icing on the cake.

Great location and timely communications from property manager

Lets start with the bad, the bad is we stayed at 401 and there is no elevator so I had to carry our luggage all the way up to 4th floor. When we got to the room, took a shower and drain clogged right away which means they did not clean the drain down below properly. They were very attentive and very good at communicating so they took care and sent someone right away but unfortunately we could not let them in because we were so tired from our flight. The pros is everything is walkable here. If you take tours, the main bus stops are walkable. Shops and restaurants all over. They also provided kitchen items and toileties and was very generous amount which we like. They also respond very quickly even days before our check in. Overall, I would recommend this for the service and value.

After staying in a camper for 6 days we were excited to have our own bathroom and bed. The place was clean but the electricity was not on when we got there. Also the bathroom shower gets water all over the bathroom it doesn’t quite drain correctly. The bed was also two twins pushed together not the queen we thought it was. The parking was also deceiving because it said free parking but that’s only with certain units. We had to park about a 10 min walk for the free parking. The location was fantastic and the staff did respond quickly to any questions.

The hotel was fine. We unfortunately had the top floor. Best views but tricky humping your luggage up the winding stairs. Never saw anyone working there. Check in and out was easy. Thankfully through emails we were able to get our room 2 hours earlier. Free parking is pretty much not happening unless you get lucky or rent the 4 person room. If you can get by without a car it will be less stressful in the city.There is a nail spa on the ground floor of this building. Had a great massage there!!
