On the second day, we moved to a superior room because deluxe rooms were unavailable. The room was still comfortable, but none of the rooms had a TV. Breakfast was à la carte, but delicious. They helped us move our luggage because we were out at check-out time.

We booked a Deluxe Mountain room with a funicular view in front of our room. We arrived at 6 a.m. and the hotel let us store our luggage until we checked in. We were allowed to use the restroom to clean up and change. The receptionist was very helpful, and the lobby smelled wonderful. We could also rent a motorbike from the hotel.

Had a good stay here while in Sapa. The hotel was clean and not to mention the view! The staff were very helpful as well. Will definitely be staying at this hotel again for future opportunities.

The staff was very kind, allowing you to store your luggage before check-in and after check-out. The rooms were also very clean, except mine didn't have a TV. Rooms with balconies offer beautiful views.

I stayed at Sapa Yen Hotel for two nights (10–12 April) in a Deluxe Mountain View room on the G floor. If you are looking for a scenic, "no-frills" stay that prioritizes nature and peace over luxury amenities, this is the place to be. The View: The highlight of this hotel is undoubtedly the view. From both my room and the hotel restaurant, you have a direct, unobstructed sight of the Fansipan tram passing by at intervals. It is a truly mesmerizing sight to behold and makes the stay feel very special. Location & Accessibility: • The Walk: Be prepared for a bit of a walk, especially if you have luggage in tow after alighting at the Sapa Visitor Centre. It’s a bit of a trek, but once you see the view from the property, the effort pays off completely. • Transport Tip: I highly recommend renting a motorbike from the shop right next door. It is much more cost-effective for visiting O Quy Ho Pass and the Rong May Glass Bridge. • Note on Grab: I found that Grab drivers (especially bikes) are often reluctant to come into the hotel’s specific location. They would frequently cancel after I had waited for some time, so having your own wheels is almost essential here. Room & Facilities: The room is comfortable but minimalist. It’s important to note that there is no TV in the room, which suited me fine as I preferred to soak in the mountain scenery, but it's something to be aware of if you enjoy evening entertainment. Dining: The breakfast experience was great. It is made-to-order for the main dishes, while drinks (coffee, tea, juices), salads, fruits, and condiments are self-service. • Tip: The outdoor tables facing the tram tracks are the most popular seats in the house. Even under the scorching sun, they are almost always occupied because the view is just that good! Verdict: For a solo traveler, Sapa Yen is highly recommended. It offers a unique, tranquil experience without unnecessary frills. I would definitely stay here again for that view alone!

We had a very pleasant stay at Sapa Yen Hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff were very welcoming and helpful. They assisted us very well during check-in and even brought us to our room, making everything smooth and comfortable. While waiting for our room, there were refreshments provided, which was a thoughtful touch after a long journey. Our room had an amazing view. We could see the Fansipan train passing through the landscape from our window—it was truly beautiful and relaxing. Breakfast was also good, and it is ordered from a menu with several options to choose from. For Muslim guests, there is a vegetable option available, which we really appreciated. Overall, everything from the staff service, facilities, breakfast, and especially the view made our stay very enjoyable. A comfortable and memorable experience. Definitely will repeat again.

I had a really pleasant stay at Sapa Yen Hotel. The hotel offers amazing value for money. The room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with a cozy and modern feel. Breakfast was simple but enjoyable, with enough options to start the day well. The hotel is also within walking distance to major attractions like Sun Plaza and the Fansipan station, making it very convenient for exploring Sapa. However, there were a few downsides. At night, the area can feel quite dark as there’s limited lighting around the hotel. Also, I didn’t get a room with a nice view, mine faced a construction building, which was a bit disappointing.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Sapa, thanks especially to the incredibly kind and helpful staff. During our stay, my sister had breathing difficulties late at night, and there were no clinics nearby. The male staff on duty quickly informed the hotel manager, who went above and beyond, driving us to several clinics and, when they were all closed, taking us to the general hospital in the middle of the night and even helping translate my sister’s condition to the staff on duty. Their care and kindness were truly remarkable and made us feel very supported. The stay was very comfortable overall, though we recommend bringing basic medications as getting medical help late at night is difficult, and breakfast options could be improved, especially for those who do not eat beef.

Room was nice and clean, they still waiting for us even when we checked in at 11pm, even carrying our luggage. They also printed some restaurant and places to visit in Sapa. Mind you there is no TV but it's fine because we go out all day anyways. The only food that was actually good is the soup, the main dish wasn't to my liking.

Highly recommended hotel with a mountain view, where you can see the red train passing, enjoy a free breakfast buffet with a view, and it's near Sapa Station
