Definitely get what you pay for. Value is decent. They are a stickler for the rules, especially the quiet hours, and they make you leave your room from 11am-2pm to clean, so keep that in mind. Check in is seamless, but do not come late, they are closed from 22:00-8:00 I think. Overall great value, met a lot of nice people. Best thing was the cleanliness.

Susanna the manager does an excellent job making the Hostel run like clockwork and is very friendly and helpful.

This was great!! The property was super clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and people were actually quiet during quiet hours!

Back yard area was nice, some socks and restaurants nearby.

Stay is cheap but there no Air conditioning in this establishment. In July with temp 30 degrees you will feel suffocated.

Location is good and only 2 minutes walk to Metro station, Beds are not comfortable and breakfast was so basic

This hostel was so great! Susanna the receptionist was so kind and helpful. Beds and bathroom were very clean. No complaints, I'd definitely stay here again.

+ very pleasant, helpful, outgoing staff + huge room with a big bathroom, all very clean + location 3 min walk from metro stop (served by majority of Porto metro lines), 15 min walk to the old Porto centre + big garden right in front of the room, would be great for a summer stay ~ basic breakfast, not too many choices but quite tasty (good bread) - bed not so comfy - soundproofing of the room could be better Overall, I had a very good stay - the minuses are more tips for improvement, I would recommend this hostel to any not-too-fussy traveller.

Magnificent

It's a nice hostel where you can meet other travelers from all over the world. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff members, Karina and Susana are attentive and kind. I loved the patio as well as the quiet surroundings. It's perfect to relax and enjoy Porto.

Excellent staff and very helpful! Location good, very close to the metro station. Breakfast is free and very good & generous, for a hostel (good quality fresh bread rolls, butter, honey, jams, chocolate spread, cheese, ham, different types of cereal, fruits, coffee, tea, juice. Well equipped kitchen, amazing terrace and good communal space. Now, what needs serious improvement is the bathroom. 2 toilettes and 2 showers for all females is not enough at all. Not to mention that there is not much privacy as all 4 cabinets are in the same room, separated by glass paneld with not enough shadowing (almost transparent!). The toilets are really tiny, you are squeezed even while standing. Also, some chairs in the rooms would be good. Finally, a bit shame to charge for luggage storage..my view on this though.

Before my arrival at the hostel I received an email from the hostel staff to announce me I have to hurry up as the reception works only till 23:30. I appreciated this. The lady from the reception was over friendly and I really enjoyed her presence full of positive vibe. AL THE beds were occupied in the room but I slept very well without noise from outside or inside. The breakfast was very nice with few choices. You can use the kitchen as well after breakfast if you wanna cook for yourself. A good experience and I would go back there.

When I read this was a hostel, I had some doubts. I was traveling with my two adult children and my son, who frequents hostels, said I wouldn't like the lifestyle, I was pleasantly surprised. We had the large family room which came with a private bathroom, two single beds and a bunk bed. Sheets, blankets and towels were provided and a decent, if simple breakfast came with the price. The staff was very attentive, even staying up late to let us in. The location was central and accessible. I would certainly stay here again and recommend it enthusiastically.
