Parking and breakfast were great! Felt very homey.

Great family run guest house. Quiet room though no view. Great breakfast. In town so walking distance to the castle and restaurants.

Everything was good without being great. Breakfast was adequate without being spectacular. Disappointed there was no on-site parking.

Very dated but done exactly what we needed

This was fine but not a standout. Room was small, hard to maneuver, but clean and quiet as it faced he back alley. Private. Walking dstance to pub and restaurant. Owners were pokite and friendly.

Very unique. The two bed room was kind of small. Would get a double bed next time. The host was very nice and the breakfast hit the spot first thing in the morning. It was close to downtown. Plus it had parking for small vehicles. Overall a pleasant experience.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and the beds comfortable. Breakfast was included and was delicious. We would definitely stay here again!

Atlantic Guest House is an excellent place to stay in Donegal Town. It's just a short walk to the shops, bars, and restaurants around the Diamond in the center of town. It's also really close to attractions such as Donegal Castle, Donegal Bay, and the Famine Graveyard. The staff was friendly and helpful. As a walker and runner I appreciated having easy access to short trails such as The Bank Walk and the long trail Bluestack Way. My room and the bathrooms were clean. The breakfast was tasty and the lounges were nice and elegant.

Room was nice and quiet

Easy to find - we took the bus, was just up the block . Great location . Hosts friendly. Breakfast really good . Booked 2 rooms with shared bath. did not realize it was shared with everyone . But there were multiple bathrooms available so was not an issue . Would recommend 😊

Small but functional room

The B&B was close to the town center. It was great to have a choice of breakfast the next morning too

The room was clean and comfortable. I upgraded to an en-suite room, which made all the difference. The breakfast was great, though there is no longer on-site parking. There is a free carpark about 5 minutes walk away, cheaper pay-and-display parking round the corner and more expensive pay-and-display parking on the road outside.

Room was 3rd floor walkup. We are seniors. Parking was across street in public lot. Room was so small for two beds. Twin and full size. Full was so uncomfortable for two people. Had our grandson with us. Could hardly move in room. Cooked breakfast was very nice.

I was extremely disappointed with this hotel. While it is correctly located in the heart of Donegal Town, very little else matched the description. It is advertised as an “award-winning” guesthouse, which was difficult to understand given the overall experience. The rooms were neither bright nor airy, but small, tired, and carried a strong smell of stale grease and dirt. The walls were so thin that we could clearly hear neighbouring guests talking, snoring, and using the bathroom. The staff were disinterested and rude, which only added to the poor experience. Breakfast was also misleadingly described, what was presented as a full Irish or continental option amounted to little more than greasy food or a basic bowl of cereal. The property also advertises free limited on-site parking however, this was only suitable for motorcycles, so it was effectively unavailable. Overall, the hotel did not match its advertised standards. The only redeeming feature was the location and the friendliness of the wider Donegal community.

The location is perfect for visiting Donegal Town. It's very close to all sorts of shopping and transportation and places to visit. I will definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.

Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Furnitures are a bit outdated in the bedrooms. Water pressure is a bit low in the bedroom faucet.
