Absolutely fabulous staff so helpful nothing was to much. Food very good. Bar guy made the best cocktails. Hopefully we get to go back again .as I said staff a dream you can't beat the Irish for showings hospitality and the big smiles and chats. Keep doing what your doing its fabulous.

Everything about this hotel is fantastic. From the front desk checking in to the restaurant/bar service to the room cleaning service. The food is unbelievable and everyone there was so helpful with any request you might have. They go above and beyond. The breakfast and dinners were amazing. And you always met with smile.

Yes the breakfast looked nice and friends enjoyed it but I enjoyed the cappuccino instead of eating and that was perfect

Hotel nice but old fashioned. Breakfast ok. Self service area very basic and not much choice.

The setting is beautiful. The room was good. Dinner was excellent. The staff are all very good. We will definitely return.

Enjoyed our visit to the Lakeside Manor. Fine big room,lovely view and an extremely comfortable big bed! Lovely friendly staff. Food was excellent. A cosy,comfortable, reasonably priced hotel. Tea/coffee making facility.. Would have appreciated a bottle of water in the bedroom.

The staff were lovely so helpful, polite and friendly.

Every member of staff was extremely friendly especially the lady on reception for both check in and check out...... Place needs a thorough cleaning as it was really dirty with cobwebs everywhere, walls dirty and marked radiators thick with dust ....... The bathroom in the "superior room" wasn't very clean toilet seat was dirty loose and sticky and hairs on the floor ...... Carpets dirty, stained and falling apart...... Food was overpriced for the small portions you got and €6-90 for a pint of smithwicks an Irish beer is just pure robbery.......And then to top it off we realised the entire bottom floor was an IPAS CENTRE...... Disgraceful to still be letting out rooms to unsuspecting guests if you are an IPAS CENTRE

It was brilliant from start to finish. The check in was no fuss the room was spotless both the dining room for evening meal and the bar was run by friendly and helpful staff. I will be back

Beautiful inside and out. The lakeside location was perfect and the inside of the hotel was quaint with giant fresh flower bouquets in common areas. The place was very clean. The only issue was the adjoining room; there is NO soundproofing. So if you are a light sleeper or noise sensitive and your neighbours even speak more than a whisper or watch tv or play any music you'll have a truly miserable time

Hotel was comfortable inclusing bedroom. Food was good. Staff friendly. Unfortunately there was a smell from our bathroom. We kept the door closed in bathroom and door open in the room. Window could not open in bedroom.

We were attending a wedding at Virginia Lodge so the hotel was close by. The staff were extremely friendly, the bed comfortable and the place very tidy. Great views over the lake. Excellent breakfast but would have liked fruit salad to be available as it was in other places guests stayed.
