This was our second time around in this amazing hotel and once again it was amazing. We had a lovely time as a couple and with our dog. The SPA is wonderful, the food tasty and the staff very friendly. We hope to be back!

Travel Charme Fürstenhaus am Achensee is an amazing place to stay! Very nice staff, beautiful - stunning views from my room (255), great breakfast and so many other things that are offered here that I did not take advantage of, but will on my next visit. I will be returning here many more times to come! Thank you for a fantastical stay!

I traveled solo without a car and found it incredibly easy to get around. I was able to walk, hike, and use the bus, ferry, and cable car with great convenience. The hotel provided everything I needed, and its waterfront location was perfect, with crystal-clear water just steps away. The breakfast was excellent as well.

The gentleman who checked in was very rude, and not to mention the restaurant closing time, which is 8:30 PM in the summer (very early). The restaurant staff is excellent (that's what saved the day)

We loved the peacefulness of this property. Excellent breakfast and wonderfully helpful staff. We rented e-bikes at the property and rode some amazing rides! We can’t wait to return

This hotel was absolutely delightful. The staff went out of their way to be helpful and made our stay comfortable and extremely enjoyable. Food was delicious. I cannot it fault it at all.

Property location on the water is beautiful and facilities were excellent 4 star. Guest service (booking/billing unresponsive and very poor, needing improvement. Guests should be wary of booking through Orbitz, as hotel uses third-party booking vendors to give guests the run-around and refuses to correct very obvious charge errors --even when charges were directly COLLECTED AT HOTEL PROPERTY and Orbitz formally replied that hotel collected all the charges. Hotel acknowledged the erroneous charge but refused to correct at check-out (nor weeks afterwards), proceeded with charging guest erroneous amount anyways, and then incredulously put the "commission arrangements" they made with Orbitz the responsibility of the Guest as contingency for their hotel to refund the overcharge. Dining options also make no allowance for Hotel Guests (even when you have 5 guests staying for 5 nights in 4 separate bookings)-- no guest can get a table reservation for dinner at the hotel the first few nights, and then greeted by a very condescending and unfriendly restaurant Host.

A gem in the Tyrolean mountains, it’s the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a relaxing stay by the lake. The views are stunning (and we didn’t stay in a suite), and the staff are very helpful and welcoming (albeit in a very Austrian way!). The spa is wonderful, vast and very clean, with two outdoor pools (including jacuzzi) with dramatic views of the lake and surrounding mountains. Absolutely would recommend it !! In the village there are quite a few restaurants to try, and it’s very easy to go for winter hikes up the nearby lointains.

We liked the views, ambience, wellness center, and the proximity to lake walks and mountain hikes.

Fantastic resort. Highly recommended. Spa is great. Massage was great. Village and lake were beautiful and quiet so great for those who want 2-3 days away for rest and relaxation.

Very clean and quiet the hotel. Needs better sign posting especially if arriving in the evening when very dark and not much light around. Also note dinner gets serviced earlier than one would expect so don’t arrive too late and always book if you want to have dinner.

Really relaxing hotel and perfect for a spa weekend. We went in Feb and it was snowy and perfect for a walk and then an afternoon in the spa. Great breakfast and staff were lovely

We had a lovely 4 nights at the Travel Charme - our second time here. The hotel is superb, right on the lake and an easy walk into town. We had a lake view, but a mountain view is just as beautiful. Very comfortable room, good bathroom and shower, wif-fi good. Only one English channel on the TV, but we weren't there to watch television! The spa facilities are excellent. Sauna and steam (naked...) were good, used them every day, as well as the pool - and to swim outside with 3ft of snow around you is amazing! We didn't use any of the treatments that were on offer, so can't comment on those. But plenty of relaxing beds to rest and enjoy the view.... We were B&B, and thought the choice at breakfast was great. Cereals, fruit, cooked-to-order omlettes and eggs, as well as the normal scrambled, bacon, sausages etc. There are numerous restaurants dotted around the town, all within a 15 minute or so walk. We did the 5km walk to Maurach, and then up on the cable car to Rofan. Stunning views, and a few really nice bars and restaurants up there too. Ideal for walking, or just watching all that's going on! Obviously, going in January, everywhere catered for snow and skiing, which we were more than happy with, but would like to go back in the summer, when I'm sure it would be a completely different type of holiday. Excellent all round, and would definitely return.

Fantastic
