I booked Schlosshotel and my room was in the Pfarrhochamt (500 m!)

This is a unique hotel with a long history. It belongs to the Order of the Maltese and was built in 1628. Unfortunately he restaurant was closed due to renovation but the town has a fantastic alternative only 5-10 waking minutes down the road. The rooms are unique. We stayed in room 5. I thought it would be loud since it was right by the buffet but it was very quiet. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great. The buffet had a good choice. This hotel is great for its location in the vineyards of Austria and Vienna is only 45 minutes away. The boarder of the Czech Republic is only 15 minutes away as well as Slovakia.

This is a quiet little wine growing region and there happened to be a small wine festival the day we were there, so we were invited to taste the local wines in the cellar. I'm not sure there's a lot to do otherwise. It was a convenient stop for us on our way back to Vienna and we quite enjoyed it.

We stayed at this hotel only one night but it was a good memorable experience. The site has fascinating history dating back to the Crusades, and is still owned by the same order of knights. We were able to enjoy a look around the castle even though we were not there at the daily tour time. Staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, and we were able to have a true gourmet meal and great local wine right on site at the restaurant. The afternoon before staying here we went to Thayatal National Park with a walk across through lovely forest, and past remnants of "Iron Curtain", to Czech Republic. The hotel was very conveniently located for sight-seeing.

A wonderful, luxurious place in the quiet and charming countryside. Very friendly staff. We recommend it as a convenient and comfortable base to explore the border region. There're many good restaurants in the village and nearby. We stayed here for 3 nights.

Das Hotel ist toll, man wohnt de facto in einem Schloß. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön,das Frühstück ist ausgezeichnet. Wer Ruhe sucht, sollte hier sich einige Tage gönnen. Ein Problem in der Region ist, dass es sehr wenige Restaurantbetriebe gibt, für ein Abendessen muss man oft viele Kilometer fahren!!!!

Wunderschönes Gebäude; traumhaftes Ambiente im großen Zimmer; überaus freundliches Personal; reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet.

Zimmer sind sauber und sehr wohnlich. Die alten Schlossgemäuer und die Einrichtung passen rec ht gut zueinander. Frühstück war reichhaltig. Leider ist das Restaurant geschlossen. Das Personal ist zuvorkommend und freundlich. Auch die neue Chefin des Hotels (ich habe leider ihren Namen vegessen) ist sehr zuvorkommend und nett.

Ett bra hotell med bra service i mysig miljö. Personalen var mycket serviceinriktade. Ett ställe som vi gärna återkommer till.

Rezeption ab 18 Uhr nicht mehr besetzt, Wlan Verbindung hat nicht sehr gut funktioniert. Frühstück ok mit allem was man braucht. Insgesamt passt das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht.

Das gebuchte Zimmer war nicht verfügbar, Kästen haben keine Einlagefächer, Handtücher wurden nicht gewechselt, kein Safe - keine Minibar am Zimmer, das Zimmer war eine Sauna mit 29°C!, Handtuchhalter zu tief- dadurch ist 1/3 des Handtuchs am Boden, für das Badetuch war keine Aufhängevorrichtung vorhanden, durch eine Hochzeit war es weit nach Mitternacht noch laut und man konnte in der Sauna keine Fenster öffnen, Frühstück erfolgt auf kleinen Tischen auf einem Gang zu Hotelzimmern, es wurde mehr als 45min nicht abgeräumt, nur ein Tisch war ohne Frühstücksreste an beiden Tagen, Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis passt gar nicht.

Mega lækkert og restaureret virkelig flot for at bevare det Historiske islæt. Meget venligt og service minded personale. Værelset blev booket for en enkelt overnatning, da trafikken gjorde rejsetiden lang. Fremvisningen i hotels.com visser ikke hvor skønt det i virkeligheden er

Traumhaft - wir sind begeistert. Freundliche Mitarbeiter, toller Service, eine traumhafte Umgebung. Jederzeit wieder!

Tagsüber schöne Radtouren im gemütlichen Niederösterreich und seinem Weinviertel, gestärkt vom reichhaltigen Frühstück im Hotel, abends im schönen Schlosshof bei 2-Hauben-Küche, perfekt!

Die Abgeschiedenheit ist für Ruhebdürftige ausgezeichnet, abgesehen von dem nächtlichen Froschgequake.....
