The cottage was very clean, well equipped, uncluttered and tasteful. Close to great walk trails and some lovely places to eat from cafes to wineries.

Total package was very impressive. We had a very relaxing time and we will be back.

Was very relaxing stay with everything we needed, surrounded by beautiful picturesque scenery with plenty of bird life to enjoy. Also was only a short distance to town which was very convenient.

What can I say , if you love natural beauty in a fireplace warmed cottage with nothing but your own thoughts, close to endless memories yet to be made . This is the place .... Perfect.... absolutely stunning and just perfect. Not pretentious.. just natural.

Very tranquil cottages, perfect for a romantic getaway. Situated in front of picturesque forests and Big Brook Dam.

Everything was great. We enjoyed our stay very much. This is the second time we have chosen big brook cotrages and it wont be the last. Thank you for having us again!

The big brook forest is right on your door step. A very peaceful, relaxing weekend.

The property is located out of town ( but only a short drive). It is peaceful and close to some lovely walking trails including the Dam walk. Only issue with this property is the lack of WiFi/internet to the cottages. Meant we could disconnect but the lack of phone and internet was a tad annoying at times.

Nice and quiet surroundings, central to lots of places & things to do. Only down side was lack of WIFI at the actual cottage - even tho could HOT SPOT at the house just couldn't be bothered walking up there when wanting to post / send photos etc. (Not necessarily Hosts fault)

Beautifully presenred cottage with all facilities you require for a self contained stay. Comfortable bed, amazing surroundings. Birdlife galore. Tranquil. Relaxing.

The cottage was presented beautifully and the setting was amazing. Liked the personal welcome from Paul when we arrived. Would have no hesitation in recommending to family and friends.

The cottage was wonderful. It was spacious and well equipped. The surrounding gardens were beautiful. Loved its location away from the main highway.

Our hosts never interrupted us but were always available to help with anything at all.The kitchen and fridge were stocked with the essentials and even replenished to us save going to town for milk! How thoughtful. There were plenty of walks and places to eat within a short drive. A great place to escape to from the city.

Fantastic place to unwind. Beautiful grounds. Wonderful hosts, warm and friendly greeting. Chocolates and wine on arrival. Close to town and many local wineries to visit with fabulous food. Highly recommend to visit.

We were pleasantly surprised by the location of the cottage. It was everything and more than we could have imagined. The facilities and attention to detail in the cottage was nothing short of first class. Our host Paul went "above and beyond" to make sure we had an enjoyable stay. Sitting in the private BBQ area was amazing as we watched all types of birds visit the cottage gardens. We will definitely choose to stay at Big Brook Cottages when we are next in the South West.

Went down for the truffle kerfuffle weekend and it was great to have a wood fire each night at oand a soak in the spa after each day. The coffee machine was well enjoyed and waking up to chirping little birds was nice. Management was super friendly inviting us over to watch the footy and have a few bevys, unfortunately being a romantic getaway, it wasn't possible for me to slip away from the cottage. Definitely was a great place to stay.

Beautiful property with very well equipped and cosy accommodation. Bed extremely comfortable, quality linens, coffee machine, complimentary pods and fresh milk. Highly recommended
