Room was clean and warm. Location was excellent, within walking distance of several dining options.

Close to town. Next to Hotel Nicholas which has good pub food. Car park is open air - no cover - can make rainy weather an issue.

With the room was small It had a kettle It had a toaster which you really couldn’t use because of lack of space One of the mugs was broken There was no safety chain Overall, I would give it a rating of four out of 10

no allocated parking and basically had to run down stairs when someone moved their car to get a decent spot. remainder of cars had to park on the road. car park was dimly lit which is scary for an older single female. grey slate stairs to get to upstairs room were also dimly lit and quite dagerous for visually impaired people. panel wall heater would not work and no electric blanket but fortunately i had my own heater in the car

The property is a little dated

The premises are as advertised and the ratings are well earned. Check in and advice was good. Good heating and electric blankets. Clean tidy hot water. Pool not used due to weather. The best part is it was quiet and the location. 30 metres from the central shopping area. Overall excellent.

The Armour Motor Inn is located conveniently in Beechworth. On one side is a short walk to the historical centre on the other is a short walk to the Chinese Gardens and the lake. Friendly helpful staff made the stay most comfortable.

We’ve stayed here several times over the years and always love it for the convenient location within easy walking distance to everything in town. Beds are really comfortable, the rooms are cozy and staff are lovely. Highly recommend it.
