We were delighted by our family room with two bedroom. The restaurant had lots of options for our family. We really liked our experience

Room was spacious and clean, the hotel has a really Nice homely local vibe, recommend a stay here!

I've been here twice and would go back. The setting is very pretty next to the river., but I was there on business so this counted for less. Rooms are comfortable, the superior room I took once had a jacuzzi in it as well as a large amount of space. The restaurant is good with its own pizza oven, I also recommend the local beer - on the evenings when it's not open you can just walk up the road to the Voltaire. Breakfast is a buffet with a large choice, and is served early. Staff are helpful but not always at the reception, you may have to ask in the bar. Payment is made in advance on check in. Parking more difficult than it seems - limited amount of space, and it fills up quickly.

The hotel is becoming dated and that evident in the room we stayed in. Good size room but the bathroom has seen better days. It was fine for a single night but wish we had stayed somewhere quainter. Good to have parking on site. The town and castle were the highlights of the stay, we had to find somewhere for dinner as the restaurant was closed.

The hotel is in a great location in the middle of the town. Easily walkable to the castle. It has its own free parking in a lot a short walk away. (Initially we didn’t know this and found parking tricky on a busy Sunday afternoon). Our room was really spacious, with quality furnishings and a big bathroom. It was a little old fashioned, but in a charming way. Dinner on the terrace was a highlight. The food, service and atmosphere were great. It’s clearly a popular spot. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend

Perfectly located and cute hotel with a good restaurant. Only downside of our stay was that we were staying in the family room on the ground floor, where also the breakfast delivery was. There was a lot of noise from the hallway when the carts with breakfast were delivered. The sound of moving chairs on the floor above us (breakfast area) was very loud. The bathroom light and ventilation go on and off automatically which is great, but it takes too long for them to shut off. Especially during the night it’s annoying the light and ventilation stay on for 15min..

Lovely little town and this is a lovely hotel with a bar and restaurant. Great breakfast and nice staff. Undercover parking for motorcycles.

Loved this town. Hotel was perfectly positioned to see the town. Loved the Castle.

We were there during the heat wave in late June 2019. Room was way to hot, made worse by the heat coming through the wall from the Cheney from the pizza oven below our unit. Made the room even hotter then normal.

Quiet hotel and lovely restaurant. Hotel stuffs are friendly and helpful.

The receptionist wasn’t super polite. She may have been having a bad day but was kind of right to the point and now very welcoming. The room was not very clean either. The view of the castle was nice and the local area was pleasant.

Reserved deluxe room...got assigned double room directly adjacent to parking lot. We got to hear cars coming and going all night. No A/C...need to open windows in warm weather. With this room we got the added bonus of exhaust fumes from the parking lot. Do NOT assume you will receive the room you reserved. If we had known this is where they would put us, we would have reserved a different hotel. Room was clean. Also, hotel advertises pool....it's 100 meters down the road at another hotel. This is deceptive advertising and blatant misrepresentation...the pool photos should be removed.

We stayed here for 2 nights on the last leg of a motorbike trip to Germany. The room was large, clean and modern. The room was on the warm side with no air conditioning, however, there was a fan provided. The food in the restaurant was good and breakfast was a continental style buffet. Plenty of parking for bikes in the car park at the back of the hotel. The pool was actually in a sister hotel just up the road so we didn't use it.

great location, good food and good prices, hotel staff was very nice but room had a musty smell and pillows were too big for my comfort
