We loved the pool area, but were disappointed not all the saunas and steam areas seemed to be working. The wellness area had outdated workout equipment but we loved the options for racquetball and ping pong. Getting here is a hassle if you don’t have a car. There is a grocery store and little toy shop very close to the hotel (but you’ll have to walk your groceries up hill to get back to the hotel without a car - Just a warning since we saw some unhappy faces as we drove past them). We loved the pool table downstairs in the bar and our balcony was spacious with great views. It seemed by the overall look of the hotel that it was luxurious back in its day of maybe the 80s or 90s. I didn’t mind it at all and would stay here again!

Be very careful with this hotel! The hotel was a nice resort style place, although the rooms are a bit dated. The surprise came after my credit card was charged 300 euro for 12 breakfasts. I stated that we want to hold off on breakfast at checkin. The email reply from the hotel stated that if we don't specifically state that we didn't have breakfast on checkout they will charge for this. They didn't ask us if we had breakfast on checkout but charged my credit card, and stated that there is "nothing they can do" about the charge. Thus this amounts to a fraudulent charge. I am working with my bank to reverse this charge now....

Fantastic location with a lot of amenities. The view from the patio and balcony is amazing. The interior is a little dated but clean and comfortable and the staff is very friendly.

The property is has panoramic views from every direction- it is a very clean and tidy property but the room we had was poor and certainly did not warrant a 5 star rating., the room had no air conditioning or ventilation of any kind other than opening the balcony door (which would not stay open on its own)- the bathroom had a glass see through door without any lock therefore no privacy within the room and no extractor fan or any for of ventilation. The wood frame double bed had two single mattress's which tended to leave a gap. The leisure facilities were good as was the gym. The bar never opened durring our stay.It was not worth the money charged.

This is a fun hotel, feels like throwback luxury. It is a bit outdated but in a very charming way. The food is high quality and they take service quite seriously. We enjoyed the spa amenities and we had a room with a beautiful view. The room was large and comfortable enough to spend lots of time in, which was great on rainy days.

Fantastic place - beautiful rooms and wonderful staff

Staff at the hotel were kind and helpful. The room was much larger than expected and the location of the hotel up top of a hill is great! I chose the hotel because of its pool but everything else about it turned out just as enjoyable.

Stayed just for one night in August on way to Grand Prix. This is a nice spa type hotel, facilities in the spa were exceptional. Would have been good to stay longer and take full advantage of the facilities, but overall a great hotel.

Great view from. The terrace over lake and Eschenach . Nice pools in and out ! Room are nice and comfortable beds . Only down side no air conditioning so with recent heat at 30C + we struggle to get the room cold overnight. But nice view at breakfast.

Staff were very helpful. No air-con in room and it was a humid night. Pool and spa looked good but closed by 20:00 so not able to try them.

Booked a spa hotel as driving from Italy to UK and thought it would be lovely to use facilities when I got here, arrived later than anticipated, hotel is very very quiet indeed and the spa was closed! Hotel staff were very kind and helpful and made me feel very welcome indeed. I imagine it’s wonderful here later in season when there are more than a handful of guests

Absoltely great place. A pleasant walk to the town. Close to walking trails as well. Even walked to Germany for an evening meal one night!. Hotel spotless with amazing sauna facilities. Best of all, we left something of value and they posted it to the UK free of charge and would not accept any reimbursment.

The Hotel rooms are quite small for 2 people however they were very clean. The bathrooms have been upgraded to a very high standard which then makes the rooms stand out as a little old fashioned. The pillows are very soft and in fact disappear the moment you put your head on them so I requested an extra pillow which the staff immediately supplied but I probably needed a third. The staff were very friendly and always attentive. The spa and pools were excellent and the gym was well equipped. The restaurant was a little on the pricey side and the chef was not as flexible as I would have expected given the price but the food we ordered was very good but I could have purchased and eaten cheaper for the same quality somewhere else. I would definitely stay again at the hotel but would eat at the local rest in the local towns as they were excellent quality and value for money. very good hotel all in all.

Very good resort place in sommer. A bit far out for business travel. Small rooms for family
