Our syay st Chesa Valesenwas fantastic. The owners were personal and cared for each guest like family. They offered suggestions without heistation and the location was fantastic. Highly recommended - we'll definitely be back!

Amazing stay at an amazing property. We were picked up promptly from the station after calling. We would have walked the 10 minutes down the hill but it was pouring rain. Rooms were ready and clean. They called a restaurant they suggested to us to make sure they were open (it was the beginning of the shoulder season). The rooms weren’t very sound proofed, but it really wasn’t needed. It was super quiet from 9 pm until 7 AM when the town kind of woke up. There was some construction a few houses over and we got to watch a helicopter do a crane’s work. This was around 10AM though so it wasn’t really bothersome. Good view of the Matterhorn from both our rooms (we split 2-2 for our family of 4). Room was in amazing shape. Breakfast was great, they went out of their way to provide what we wanted. Scrambled eggs and bacon were the hot offerings, and it was all great. Pastries, meat, cheese, yogurt. And juice/water/milk. They brought coffee out on request and had a tea bar as well. They kept our luggage the last day while we went up the gondola. Then gave us a ride up hill back to the station. The location is great, 6 minutes to the main shopping street, 10 minutes to the station and 12 to the glacier paradise gondola.

Awesome staff and hotel. Wonderful room with patio and close to some incredible restaurants. Lift to Matterhorn was a 10 minute walk. Breakfast was a wonderful surprise with the highest quality and original items you could want. We would stay here again without question….

This is an excellent hotel in Grindelwald. Wide variety of breakfast options including omelette station. Dinner was good albeit not cheap. Unfortunately, the guest room lighting was exceptionally poor and was definitely the worst lightening I ever experienced in a quality hotel. With the few available lights the room was nearly dark.

Great hotel. Clean room, super close to the train station. Many restaurants options around (they don't have one). The staff was really helpful and we got some chocolates when checking out. Would defnitively be back in our next trip to Zermatt.

We were in Switzerland for my son’s 16th birthday. The hotel made the stay extremely special. The room was amazing. The views were incredible. Waking up to see the Matterhorn from the balcony was magical. The staff and the owner were wonderful and accommodating. We were sad to leave. It felt like home away from home.

Very unique, 350 year old house yet modern with an amazing 360 degree balcony view of mountains to include Mount Blanc (honeymoon suite room #6). Beware that Google maps will guide you through medieval passageways that were not designed for modern cars.

The staff went out of their way to see to every need, breakfasts were awesome, and they even arranged sandwiches and a taxi for when we departed early in the morning

We LOVED this quaint hotel. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel itself had tons of character. The breakfast was delicious. Fresh fruits, scrambled eggs made upon request, hot pastries (we ate early), and coffee drinks on the house. We only stayed one night as we traveled around Europe, but will definitely be back for a longer stay. Zermatt was amazing.

Amazing and awesome services from the hotel staff. Beautiful family suite at upper level with very new appliances and quality toiletries. Staff at reception were exceptionally helpful in guiding us to places of interests, ticketing and restaurants reservation.
