The owner is very nice and friendly. The rooms are pretty big and specious. Breakfast was delicious and nutritious. We particularly enjoyed the crisp mountain air and pleasant smell of various flowers around the property.

Great breakfast :)

Traditional older B&B style hostel hotel. Owner was nice when we arrived and even took us up the mountains a bit for the view. However when it comes to making payment it's not nice. You must pay in CASH - SWISS FRANCS. No credit cards are accepted. No Euros or $$$, not their job to exchange the money, which was fine but seemed like he was accusing us of not wanting to pay. We had to run to the bank in town to exchange money before we could do anything else that day. I wish I would've refused to have dinner, FOOD was too much for any "normal" person. We were not allowed to share. The photo I uploaded is the meal that we ate about 1/4 of and then it all went to waste along with my meal I was forced to order. Food was 75 CHF which is over $80 WHAT a waste, so if you're not as HUNGRY as a COW don't get food. Also we skipped breakfast on 2nd day because it's too much food. I know as Americans we are always expected to eat a lot, There is no fridge or microwave to reheat all the leftovers so we needed up throwing it all out. The bathroom was clean & so was the shower - all shared like hostel style. The accommodations were fine, although the room we had faced the patio area where the was constant smoking of cigarettes when people were outside - my husband is allergic so we had to keep the windows closed at times so he wouldn't have asthma attack. We brought our own fan so at least we had that to help with air circulation. Location was beautiful - nice enough.

Great atmosphere and welcoming hotel.

A Great "CordonBleu" at arrival, even though we got there after 10pm and a nice selection of wine. Next morning a really big classy breakfast.

Authentic Swiss hotel, which is beautiful and the food is great, but it is definitely old-fashioned (shared floor shower and bathroom, for one thing).

Comfortable hotel in charming village with an ambiance of the Shire in Tolkien's Lord of the Rings chronicles. Beds were clean and the breakfast was probably the most lavish of our three-week tour of Europe!

Nice stay at the hotel Adler. The restaurant is very good and the chef and innkeeper are friendly and helpful. Unfortunately not very close to the train station but otherwise this is great place to stay if you are on a trip through the Emmentel region.

Es ist ein sehr arroganter Besitzer. Sehr unhöflich. Sehr unfreundlich. Es ist kein Hotel sondern Motel da die Zimmer keine eigenen Bad hat

Det fullstendige hotell. Utmerket rom, Sikker parkering, god frokost og god WiFi. Vi kom så sent at vi ikke kunne bruke restauranten. Om man skulle komme med noe negativt, var det at rommet ikke hadde aircodition. Da det var varmebølge i området (Europa) var det varmere enn behagelig.
