They put me in a nice small room with a private bath first by mistake (I had paid for a private with a shared bath) and the second next day confronted me as if it were my fault and moved me. The new room was a tin/block structure on the roof (in the tropics with just a fan), 6x6.5 feet (I measured). The twin bed touched the walls on either end and the door barely opened. It was technically what I had paid for, but anyone else would have left their mistake lie and comped me the room they had given me as it was their mistake. The showers both had the heads removed (stolen?), so the water (cold only as is common in the tropics) just poured out like a hose. I reported it to a surprised reaction, but they didn’t fix it. Other than those issues, it was a nice simple hotel and a great price for a private room.

The hotel was nice and cozy. The only downside was there was no hot water and the internet was unstable. On the plus side, the bed was cozy and the hotel was fairly close to two metro stops. There is also complementary coffee and water in the reception area.

This is a great little hotel! If you want to stay in an area devoid of any "Gringos" and have a more authentic experience for your trip to Medellin, this is the place. I liked the hotel's location. It is a quick walk to the Ayura metro station, and the hotel is close to the Plaza Mayorista shopping mall, which is a great place to find a cheap breakfast or lunch. The hotel also offers services and just outside the door are two cafes and a bakery. The wifi worked well too. The staff at the hotel are very attentive and friendly. For a more wild type of nightlife, the "La Raya" district is nearby, or the Poblado district is a fast hop in a taxi or ride two stops on the metro. The area is safe (even at night), and I can recommend this little hotel. If you are looking for luxury, this will not be your place (I do not like luxury). No AC, but a fan worked well and that was all that I needed. If you want a clean, cheap, and nice little place to stay, I can recommend this hotel to everyone. After all, hotels are just for sleeping, right? Ask for Mari and she will take care of you (tell her Scooter from Canada sent you). Great little room for budget travellers not needing anything fancy.

La verdad muy mala atención a pesar de que se hizo la reserva por este medio al momento de llegar al hotel nos dijeron que no había ninguna reserva a mi nombre y que aparte de todo no tenían habitaciones disponibles.
