Staff were great and the hostel was a very nice stay. Plumbing in our room needed some work so it’s not so stinky but it was manageable and fine in the end. All worked well.

Great hostel to stay at.

The best place for staying at Tamarindo! it´s very close to the town centre; you can rent a surfboard at the Hostel and go walking to the beach which takes 5 minutes. The place is very nice, swimmingpool, Chillout Zone,...and the most important thing is the good energy that you can feel there thanks to the Staff.

My wife and I had a lovely week at Pure Vida while learning to surf. Having the pool was a nice touch for a hostel. Staff kept the place clean, but there is your typical “tropical” buds/lizards etc around all the time. Very short walk to town and beach.

I really liked staying there, met some really cool people, i was in a private room and nothing ever stolen but someone did say their airpods were stolen and they were in the shared rooms. excellent stay overall very clean and very friendly and helpful staff

It is a very nice eco friendly hostel with swimming pool and pool table. Staff is very friendly. Good kitchen and clean bathrooms. They let me keep my bags and stay for few more hours after checkout for my meetings.

I originally planned on staying here for only 2 nights but I ended up staying a whole week! I love this hostel if I were to go back to Tamarindo I will definitely be going back! The staff were amazing and super friendly (shoutout to Lucas!) It felt like family and was a great place to socialize and hang out with other people staying at the hostel. They have plenty of rooms and bathrooms and a big kitchen to cook. It’s cleaned throughout the day and is kept very nice. Highly recommend!

The place is very close to the beach and town but on a qùiet road. The kitchen was large with plenty of space to work. The staff is very helpful.

The staff took amazing care of me. They were friendly, knowledgeable and spoke several languages (English, Spanish +). The property allows for both private, quite spaces and communal areas. Very close to the beach and great value.

I liked the music the staff played after 6:00. It was old school rock and roll. Gave the atmosphere a good vibe instead of the usual tech drumming.

Shower and bathroom options very limited. They have garden that is a good thing. Staff is helpful. Also it is very close to the beach. They lock the gate and give you a key to unlock so it feels safer. More bathroom and shower facilities would be really great
