Omg, amazing staff. The man at front desk was brilliant, spoke wonderful English and was happy to help wherever possible. He booked extra nights for me at short notice, chatted about Cusco in general and gave good tips and advice. Really enjoyed his vibe and kindness. Rooms were brilliant, good size, secure, and quiet. Highly recommend.

I am trying to keep in perspective what we paid, which wasn’t much at all. So it did meet expectations and the staff was absolutely amazing. They brought me a fan , because many hotels in Cusco do not have AC, and they held our luggage for us even after we checked out for a while. That being said, the worst issue was one they could fix. It was very bright. Some darker curtains would have went a LONG way. The window opened to a super nasty alleyway full of trash. That can be cleaned and should be. If you’re over 5 ft 8inches- you’re going to have to duck under the shower head, so we didn’t even try. TV said we could log into Netflix but then we were told they didn’t have it. So that was a bummer for just trying to relax late night and watch something in English was not possible. The pillows were very small and flat and there were only 2 on the bed. One for me and one for my husband, so we couldn’t get comfortable. I didn’t expect a lot of luxury of course, but maybe 2 more pillows would have went a long way. Staff was great, minor things I’ve mentioned could make it a lot better .

This was a decent stay at a hotel for a really good price at the best location I could ask for. It was only a few minutes from the main road into the town square, from the rail station to Machu Picchu, the San Pedro market as well as other small local restaurants at local (non tourist) prices. The bed was comfortable and the hosts were very helpful even offering coca tea. I do have to point out that the walls are quite thin I could hear next room guests talk. Also in my room's case, the bathroom window is exposed to the outside and Cusco overnight was a chilly 3 C degrees. But keeping the bathroom closed along with use of the room's portable heater was enough for a comfortable night's sleep. I also should mention that there was a large crack between my bathroom and the one in the next room so we could actually see each other's bathroom lights. I mentioned this to the hotel and they said they would repair this even though I already checked out. I would still recommend this hotel providing they address some of the exposure issues since the price, location and hospitality are all quite good.

The hotel is close to the plaza and markets. Lots happening around. Good food, markets, Plaza is just a short walk on safe streets, with Inca Walls everywhere. I would stay here again.

Great location, clean, excellent price, and owners helped arrange transport to/fro Cuzco. They also picked us up at the airport. Such a great find!

The owner picked us up at the airport. The staff members are all very friendly. I’m happy that there’s a hair dryer for us to us. Free breakfast was great and they cook fresh eggs for us. When we went on the 5 day Salkantay trekkkng, the owner let us leave our suitcases in the storage. When we came back, the suitcases were already in our room. This is a sweet family run business. The hotel is very close to the central market which is great! Love this whole experience is wonderful!

The hotel is low quality by international standards. Easy to hear noise outside the room, safety box not bolted to a fixture and hot water only just lasting one shower. Breakfast was minimal. Customer service however was good. Location is excellent. 24 hour reception offers good security. Probably better value elsewhere for the price.

We got to the hotel and breakfast was horrible, TV wasn’t working, location was a little scary to be honest, we saw a lot of locals trying to sell tours knocking on our taxi door and windows it got us scared. We were at this hotel for 2 hours before we decided to move to the Hilton in Santa Ana. Will not recommend this hotel to anyone.

This is a small hotel in a busy historic district of Cusco. It is 2 or 3 blocks away from the central plazas including Plaza de Armas. It is about 1 block away from from the biggest market in the City - San Pedro Market which was convenient when we wanted to buy some fresh fruit. The price was reasonable for what we got. Our rooms were clean and comfortable with plenty of blankets on the beds and a space heater. Free Wi-Fi was provided. The complimentary breakfast was adequate including bread, a little fresh fruit, fresh juice, cheese and eggs cooked to order. The owners were very kind and stored our luggage for 4 days while we were trekking to Machu Picchu. We stayed at this hotel before and after our trek. They also allowed me to use their printer to print boarding passes. There were a few minor issues: when we returned from our trek they quickly checked us in, but one room was missing toilet paper, soap, etc. The hot water capacity seems to be very limited and a couple of us had cold showers one morning. However, the positives outweighed the negatives and I would stay here again if I come back to Cusco.

The staff at Hotel Casablaca were really nice. The hotel and my room were clean. I felt safe at all times. The wifi was excellent: I skyped with family everyday! It's so close to everything: I walked to every major visit point. My airport pick-up and daily breakfast was included. Although there is no staff permanently at the front desk (when they're not there you just call them, or ring the bell), it was a very good stay. Really a very good value for the cost. I would go back any time!

The owners (Father and Son) and the entire staff were extremely welcoming and helpful in every way. I Stayed for three nights with a 4 day gap in the middle to hike Machu Picchu. They kept my bag safe for me while I was gone. The room was clean, the staff was terrific and I will be staying here next time I am in Cusco. While not in the main square, Casablanca is within a 5 minute, enjoyable walk to the city center. I never felt anything less than welcome and safe! 5 stars! Thanks guys!!!

The room was dated but comfortable and good value. The staff was friendly and helpful. The main problem was the noise level. I stayed for 4 nights and the day after I checked in an entire team of 2 dozen teenage girls checked in and stayed for the remaining the 3 nights. They were extremely loud, slamming doors and carrying on like teenage girls do. I had been traveling for several weeks at this point and was looking forward to some quiet rest which didn't happen. May just be my bad luck.

Hotel Casablanca is well located. Just a short walk to the heart of the old city and a short taxi ride to the airport. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and included the best scrambled eggs I've ever had!
