Not good waiting point

The place was very good for my 18 year old son

Good location for reasonable price. One new thing - you have to pay 5 PLN to borrow a towel.

Poor hostel situated a long way from central attractions

The stay was fine, however the hostel is hard to find as there is only a small paper sign on the door which also leads to a health clinic,so it is rather confusing when locating at night. Up one flight of stairs, no lift. The staff was fine, but the Internet connection was not good. No connection in the room and it was necessary to sit close to the modem to get a connection. When I arrived after dark the kitchen had considerable dirty dishes in the sink.....this I attribute to the guests, but not very pleasant. Stayed two nights and cleaning in the morning was fine. Overall the hostel is an inexpensive option and there is nothing really bad, just not great.

Great hostel with secure parking. Staff are very helpful and speak perfect English. Shared kitchen with free tea & coffee. Very clean rooms and bathrooms. Tram goes from opposite the hostel 30 second walk. 8 stops (11 mins to old town or central) Great value for the price.

EVERY THING WAS VERY BAD. TOILETS WERE BROKEN, ROOMS WERE FULLY WITH MOSQUITOS , THERE WERE NOT ANY TOWEL.

Our goal was to visit Warsaw, but cheaply. Hostel Bazyl exceeded our expectation. If you are willing to share a washroom, I would definitely consider here. We purchased 3-day ZTM transit tickets, and tram cars for tram lines 3 or 7 were almost always waiting in the tram loop, literally across the intersection from the door. All of the hostel's staff that I spoke with spoke English well and were very accommodating, for instance arranging a 4 AM taxi pickup to Warszawa Wschodnia (< 2k away by road). The only negative is that the hostel is initially a little hard to find—the main entrance is actually on Kawęczyńska just south of the building, which is across from the basilica (Bazylika Najświętszego Serca Jezusowego). Additionally, Praga is not considered a "nice" section of Warsaw, though I feel this is not an issue in the immediate area. We would definitely go here again and I have no problem recommending it to someone wishing to see Poland inexpensively and without renting a car.

Location was difficult to discern from write-up. It was terrible - I wanted to be convenient to airport, and it was as far from airport as you could get and still be on the Warsaw map. It took a long time to get here by public transport from station. It was NOT close to any commercial anything - could not even find a restaurant nearby. Also, it was billed as havng wifi - it did not - was broken or some other excuse. Also - staff was unprofessional - e.g. I paid for a towel and staff was too busy playing a computer game to get it for me. To his credit, he did let mu use his personal wifi hookup off his phone, but when he closed it down without warning me, I was again out of luck. There were supposed to be corn flakes in the morning, but when I left for airport in morning at 8:15, not a corn flake in sight.

Ściany potrzebują odmalowania. Odległość między łóżkami jest bardzo mała, nie było to wygodne. Brak stolika nocnego. Nie było ręcznika, musiałam poprosić o niego w recepcji. Pościel czysta, łóżko wygodne, schludnie. Zegar na ścianie wskazywał nieprawidłową godzinę, choć było już sporo po terminie zmiany czasu :)))

Very good location for this price! You may take tram direct from the hostel to the old town and to the Palace of Culture and Science, there you may have many shops, restaurangs and the bus to both airports.

Jak ktoś tylko potrzebuje gdzieś się przespać, to ok.

Kiva ympäristö, raitiovaunut kulkivat tosi lähellä. MUTTA remontti toisella kerroksella alkoi aamulla klo 7 porakoneella... nukkuminen oli siksi vähän huonompi.

Lag sehr günstig in der Nähe der Tram. Das WiFi funktionierte gut und ohne Probleme.

Wszystko byłoby ok, gdyby nie ta stęchlizna, którą było czuć. POza tym spokjnie polecam ten hostel.
