This is a great place to unwind and enjoy the spectacular view. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was convenient and large. I highly recommend the massage.

Nice room, comfortable. A/C. The grounds were beautifully landscaped and had many options for spending time outdoors sitting, talking, working, napping, watching wild birds, or eating at the al fresco restaurant. The staff worked hard to make our stay enjoyable. Volcancito’s weather was drier and warmer than Boquete’s.

Wonderful location with absolutely breathing taking views! Room was quite large with a seating area. Beds comfortable but could use slightly better pillows.

Excellent accommodation: Room, grounds, and common area are beautifully decorated and spotless clean. Staff were friendly & helpful. Only problem was issue with hot water heater the day of our stay.

Phenomenal property, Cambodian meals, great property and excellent customer service. The views are breathtaking from almost every room and the on site garden is wonderful to walk in…..the owner is also the cook at night……WOW! Hope this area stays just like it is.

Beautiful views and gardens!

The view from the hotel is amazing. There is a beautiful garden you can walk through and see various floral and fauna. A very tasty and filling breakfast is served in the morning. You can easily walk to several restaurants, the bus station, and a market. Graciela brought tea most evenings to my room. The only negative for me is that the room did get quite hot some days. I will return though.

Hotel Anchorero is a gem! This 4 room property has a view of the Panamanian mountains that is absolutely spectacular! Situated in a small community that is both welcoming and lovely, the end of the road leads to this slice of heaven. The breakfast is large and provides home style cooking of eggs and pancakes, and they have an excellent dinner menu! Limited choices as in 1 of each of the proteins, but the ingredients are local from their garden, made to order, and are high quality and taste. The staff are from various countries and have vast knowledge of the area, great conversations, and care about your stay. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Hotel Anachoreo was a hidden gem! The view from all the rooms was incredible. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was AMAZING! Hotel was off the beaten path, but so worth the drive!

My boyfriend and I loved our stay at this boutique hotel! The views from the patio are absolutely outstanding and the vibes are around are amazing. The staff is great (thank you so much Nathan for all of your help and recommendations of things to do in the Santa Fe area!). The food is absolutely delicious here too-we loved all of our meals. If you are looking for a relaxing, great holiday, come to Hotel Anachoreo! If you will not be disappointed

Have to say the food was the best of all our stay in Panama Outstanding views from back patio Unfortunately our room did not have a kettle or coffee making machine where I did note others did.

The dinner and breakfast were wonderful! The views are spectacular. The host is very helpful. She gave me directions for the hike to a waterfall (about 4 hours roundtrip) then offerred to have her dog come with me for company. She gave me a baggie of food for him to have once we got to the waterfall.

Excellent Asian cuisine and great views of the mountains from the patio!
