This wellness hotel close to Schleswig town is a nice an quiet place in the middle of the nature. The wellness area is very fine and clean and the restaurant is serving both a varied breakfast and nice dinner.

We travel a lot and this hotel ranks as one of our all time favorites. It was a pleasant surprise. The room, the food, hot tub, sauna and pool were excellent. When we are in Germany again, we will plan on staying for a few days.

The place is really impressive, but not a great location for little kids. We have three kids under 8, and we couldn't enjoy much of the hotel. In general, the place is mostly for older German adults looking for a relaxing stay, and so our family with little kids felt out of place, at least in mid-October. Our kids did enjoy the "fancy" breakfast, which was extensive and very nice. The spa looked awesome, but we only got to experience it a bit.

A charming and comfortable hotel just perfect after a long day of driving. The pool and jacuzzi was just what we need. The hotel was so good we are booking it again on our way back from Sweden. Can’t recommend it enough.

Nice hotel. The décor is starting to feel slightly dated, but it is kept extremely neat and tidy. The Spa seems to be a newer addition and is very nice indeed. The food was very well prepared and tasty as well. I had a steak and my wife the lamb that was cooked very well. The staff was great and was able to help us in practically fluent English throughout our stay. I only wish it was a little bit warmer so that we could have sat outside on the many little terraces dotted around the property.

Nice large room overlooking pond and fields. Everything to do with room was fine. Dinner in restaurant was very good with a very good dry Wiesse burgunder. Breakfast was also very good. Would definitley stay again for right price. Rate was about $210 US; a few days later was over $300.

Good spa hotel (though didn't use the facilities) in beautiful old city. We came by train and had to walk into town - only half an hour - but more convenient for drivers.Good restaurant though surprising lack of desserts apart from brandnamed icecream.

Excellent service. Hotel is beautifully located. The restaurant is excellent serving local specialties. The hotel room could use a fan during hot summer nights, but those are infrequent in this part of Germany. Schleswig itself is a beatiful old German city with very friendly inhabitants. Higly recommended to visit and stay.

We booked it as a place to bunk on our way to Denmark, but was pleasantly surprised by the town - Schleswig and the hotel - great hotel - more like a resort - wonderful breakfast, great sauna etc. Visit the historic town nearby! Tricky to find the hotel, though do not take google's word for it, you can get there much easier - study your map.

Clean and professional. A nice welcome and a high standard of service. We had to ask for extra towels (only one set had been left in the room) and this was dealt with promptly and efficiently. The only small negative was a lack of airco in the room, which on a warm evening meant that we needed to leave the window open. The evening meal and breakfast were both of a high standard (food and service). We did not use the pool, but noted that men and women are required to wear bathing caps, and that bathing costumes are optional. Overall, a nice hotel with a good standard of service and accommodation.

Som altid super godt. God betjening. Dejligt værelse. Lækkert morgenmad. Dog begyndende nedslidning i spa området. Priserne på værelser og restaurant er steget markant de sidste år. Men vi kommer helt sikkert igen.
