The staff was okay but the room and the hotel was dirty

The pool/breakfast area was nice.

The staff was friendly but the room which I stayed in need upgrading. 1 night would have been ok. The room lacked lighting, didn’t even have a night lamp or a mirror in the room. The pool was right outside my room and people were actually in the pool way past curfew. One night it was midnight and people were still at the pool. Another night I woke up to voices outside and people were in the poor at 4am.

It was pretty nice, the people and place were quite and comfortable.

I mostly enjoyed my stay there for 1 night except for the fact that there was no hot water.

Free breakfast was good, service was good but to many stray cats to enjoy the meal they were on the chairs and tables, wife refused to eat there.

The property is a great value option. We had a room that fit our family of 5 and the hotel us only 15 minutes from the airport, which is convenient.

Relaxing by the balcony with a view to the beach was cool.

This was my first time and last time staying at Neptuno's Refugio. It was so many issues, that it wasn't worth bringing it to the hotel's staff's attention, it wouldn't have made a difference. But a short version of issues were that they shut off the water from about midnight until 5:30am in the morning. Also, the moldy smell, very outdated furniture and appliances. The A/C leaked water on the bed and floor. It was puddles of it. I'm speaking of my unit, which was room 2A. I wouldn't be surprised if they demolish this hotel ASAP! It's nearly on it's last breath. The best thing was sitting out on the balcony and having a stiff drink and knowing I only had 2 days to tolerate my stay. The balcony is huge and with a decent Oceanview!!!

Just need someone to help with luggage

Only stay here in a pinch and make sure to lock your room door properly. I woke up with my room door wide open and money was missing from my purse. Be careful! I did not press the issue because I wasn’t sure entirely sure if I had left the door open. But with a night time guard I would expect my door to have been closed by the staff at some point throughout the night if it was my mistake.

First night I was given a bed that sunk, next day my back was misaligned and gave me problems for two days, I was given another room with a firm mattress. The hotel is clean and has steaming hot water, the two rooms I stayed in had a faint smell of cigarettes, the decore is out dated but clean. The breakfast is good and the area is pretty safe, I wouldn’t mind staying again but only if the mattress is firm. The staff are friendly. The WiFi works great in any area if the property. Air conditioners work great.
