We had to walk in the rain to sister property for breakfast as B&B inn restaurant was not yet open. Absurd considering the price of the stay

What a gorgeous boutique hotel! This restored mansion is being renovated in both exquisite and attention to detail. Everything from the mattresses (Nectar) to small amenities like the spa-like towels, Moulton Brown shampoos and soaps, luxury bedding and spacious rooms all work for the comfort of the guest. They are going through some construction right now installing a restaurant and speakeasy pub. And rates are a little lower than they will be in the future. Take advantage of it and just go. You won't be disappointed. We stayed in both the Magnolia and Monarch rooms which were both wonderful.. (We had only booked one night and decided to extend to stay but had to move to the other room.) Staff was extremely attentive and helpful. After 8:00 p.m. there's self-check in.(managed through emails where they give you the code to the property in your room) but in the future there will be 24/7 on-site staff. I look forward to returning one day. This is one of the loveliest B& B's I've ever stayed in.

Was granted a late checkout of 200 pm and then on location they denied it and kicked us out at 100 pm. So they didn't keep their word. I was competing in an ironman and needed that time. Then my car was vandalized out front of their hotel. Very expensive expected better. They take about 5 minutes to answer the door as you wait outside liek a salesman even though you are giving them 4 bills per room. Plus I didnt get to have the dinner because they are remodeling and have no kitchen. Not doing that again.

This is a truly lovely inn perfectly located for enjoying the Wilmington waterfront areas because it is only several blocks away from wonderful food, breweries, the riverwalk and art studios/shopping. We loved walking everywhere. The inn is under new ownership and will be undergoing extensive updating, but the staff and managers there were wonderful in making our stay most comfortable and enjoyable! We will for sure return again and again as I cannot imagine a more lovely spot for a relaxing extended weekend!

We absolutely loved our stay August 2021! From the minute Dale let us in through the majestic front door with his wonderful Southern hospitality! The property is beautiful and well maintained throughout. Our room was meticulously clean and comfortable. The common areas were charming and well appointed with Colonial furnishings. Our breakfast was delicious and our compliments to the chefs! Damien took extra care to ensure everything was perfect throughout the morning! We loved every minute of our stay and look forward to making this an annual event.

Our stay at Greystone was extraordinarily charming, romantic and relaxing. The owners and staff were exceedingly helpful with the facilities but also great local recommendations for food and things to do. The breakfasts were Southern classics served with kindness and attentiveness, and the Inn itself is filled with beautiful history and design. Highly recommended stay, especially for couples of all ages looking for a romantic getaway.
