We stayed at Ross Mansions for one night but wished we could have stayed for longer if we wasn’t travelling around. The house was stunning and we were amazed at each room. The hosts Gerry and Jenny looked after us and nothing was too much trouble. Worth a visit as you will not be disappointed

Built in 1903 the house has southern charm, wrap-around porch, and a pristine garden that was lighted at night. The owners Gerry and Jenny were extremely friendly and knowledgable about the house and town. They made our stay memorable and left me wanting to come back during the holiday season. Breakfast was above average: fresh fruit parfait was the high-light of the meal. Would recommend this place to anyone.

Our overnight stay at the Ross Mansion B&B was exactly what my husband and I needed for a quick refresher. Gerry and Jennifer were excellent hosts, and we thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast provided. If we are ever back in Hattiesburg, we will stay here again!

The historic home was tastefully updated to accommodate guest stays. The owners also live in the home and are constantly striving to make your stay "an experience" rather than just a sleepover. The multi-course breakfast was amazing and tastefully served. We highly recommend this property.

Stayed @ Ross Mansion for the Hattiesburg Half Marathon. Walking distance to the start/finish. Discovered so many great new restaurants & shops downtown. Close to train depot. Looking @ a future stay tied to a train trip to Laurel. Gerry & Jenny were great hosts. Left for the race early & were not returning until after breakfast. So they made fruit yogurt parfaits the night before for us. Love the history & all the special pieces.

Our stay at the Ross Mansion in Hattiesburg was absolutely delightful and a wonderful escape from the ordinary. The entire essence of the place was warm and welcoming. Our hosts Jerry and Jenny could not have been more gracious as they shared the history of the old mansion; it's definitely a labor of love for both of them. Each room brought its own Southern charm from days gone by, like a hug from grandma. It was dripping with fine artwork, collectibles, and an amazing library of historical books. The sitting room that faced the front of the house was most intriguing with its shelves from floor to ceiling filled with vintage ladies' hats. There was another sitting room on the second floor that overlooked the back yard and was brimming with plants and birdcages adorned with miniatures and offered self-serve coffees, teas, and hot chocolates, a most peaceful place to start your mornings. The breakfast continued the elegance of the home with delicious food and a beautiful presentation. Amenities could not have been better, and it was in walking distance of some wonderful restaurants as well as a most unique artform in an alley between two buildings called The Pocket Museum, a must-see if you are in the area. Beautiful accommodations, delicious food, personal service, and a look into the past, you can't get that at the Holiday Inn. We hope to revisit soon.

Unique and incredibly charming. Host Gerry and Jenny were so very accommodating, we didn't want to leave. The house is a veritable antique museum and each room has its own special charm and design. The bedroom was cozy and warm. Not much space to lay out, nor any TV, which was perfectly fine with us. There are sitting rooms upstairs and downstairs, and in many respects we felt like we were visiting a museum of the past. Great choice if you're looking for something different and special.

The house was so nice. Our room was great. Jen and Gerry were gracious host, provided a great lodging experience, and rare old school pleasant friendly smiling from the heart B and B service.

This is a Beautiful restoration of the Ross Mansion! Down to the furnishings, the floors, the walls, it’s just so much to take in! This is by far the best B&B I’ve ever stayed at, and we stay at quite a few B&B’s. Jerry and Jenny, the owners and restorers, have just done an incredible job!! The breakfast is perfectly done to really match the experience, China plates and cups, garnished like out of a staged photo. Come and stay here, embrace all the love and care they put into the mansion, the grounds, and 5 star experience. We’ll be back!
