The staff very very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are modern, the beds very comfortable. The shower in the bathroom was on the small side, but worked as new. The room was well furnished and the balcony overlooked the terrace and had a view of the harbour. We will stay again.

Great location though as an old property not for persons with limited mobility. Staff were friendly and willing but lacked direction. Rooms very good with facilities such as coffee machine but seemed more suited to business travellers - desk but no dressing table; limited hanging space and no storage other than hangers and hooks. Outdoor area extremely good but a four air hotel whose bar closes at 9pm???

Loved Misia - she was an absolute darling - super helpful and very sweet. The fella in the bar with curly hair was really efficient as well considering he was taking orders for the whole deck area. Breakfst was a bit chaotic - very busy and the flow not really thought out as everyone queuing in the same area for coffee and food. Water kept running out of coffee machine etc. the staff really did try keep on top of it but they struggled. Nice modern rooms, balcony has beautiful views. Hotel probably needs a good maintenance person as a good few snags in the room. Showers etc. overall a lovely, relaxing stay and we would stay again.

This hotel is in an excellent location, right on the marina and 3 mins walk from the main shopping street and is very clean. The rooms are small but with decent facilities. The staff are friendly but communicating in English was a struggle. We parked 4 mins away by the sea which is totally free. However I never slept well both nights due to the temperature - the rooms are airless and the air con was ineffective. The fridge was like a radiator in a tiny cupboard, so we turned that off which helped a bit. We didn’t want to sleep with the balcony doors open so that wasn’t an option. The bed had a plastic waterproof under sheet and a thick synthetic duvet so that definitely contributed to the over heating problem. I ended up sleeping with a towel over me. The spa was lovely - I used the pool, sauna and steam room, all free for guests. Breakfast wasn’t great - they ran out of basics like bread and boiling water and the coffee machine broke down. It was laid out in a very odd way with cereals in one corner, milk in another, bread over there, cheese away somewhere else. A kettle was provided to boil water but no water was provided. So a mixed experience- if they sorted the ventilation and air temperature I would return. I recommend the owner of this hotel stays in it for a few nights and the problems will soon be apparent.

Our arrival at this property started off making us feel like second-class customers right away: when we arrived and asked about parking, but they acted shocked that we hadn’t booked in advance. It said on the hotels.com app that parking was available, so we didn’t anticipate our arrival to seem like a major inconvenience to the hotel staff. Then, when checking in, they referred to us as the “Expedia room,” which didn’t bode well. Still, we were satisfied with the room (size, layout, comfort) and enjoyed a lovely meal on their patio with a beautiful view (service was atrocious, though). When we got back from the pool (which was nice but clearly not very well cleaned), we noticed they hadn’t even bothered refilling the shampoo in the shower. That night, the AC didn’t work when we were going to bed. We called reception again and they turned it on manually from the front desk. I guess we should have been worried that they could turn it on and off from there, but we were so tired that we didn’t think about it and fell asleep. We woke up overheated in the middle of the night, our toddler had a dry diaper in the morning and threw up from overloading on water. We complained about this the next day, they promised not to turn off the AC again, yet it happened again. Honestly, 4 stars seems like a stretch for this hotel, considering the service. Lovely property, but that’s where the compliments end.

Hotel is in a nice location. The spa is a bit limited, during our stay the steam room was not working and the sauna had to be re-activated to keep it on and this was not obvious. The pool is good but cool. Administration (front desk), it is a bit disorganised. On checking in we were given the wrong room (town side) even though we had paid for port side. If we had not challenged this would not have been changed. There seemed to be a lot of uncertainty over taxes and on checkout there seemed to be uncertainty as to how long we had stayed. Additionally, a deposit is required. As a result of the erroneous check in we saw both types of rooms. The port side rooms with balcony are bigger and the view is nice. The town side rooms are smaller with no view or balcony. The food in the restaurant is nice and staff are friendly just a bit unsure of the paperwork. Dieppe is a wonderful town. Well worth a few days. To visit the Canadian memorials on the beach, eglise de St Jacques (a wonderful slightly decaying church missing many windows from 1939-45), shops, market, port and surrounding area are all worth visiting.

Well located but a bit of a labyrinth and some things not quite right. Our room smaller than we expected for the price, with an inconveniently small bathroom. No control over the air conditioning (it's controlled from reception) so with the room too hot we had to open the window leaving the air condition running. Breakfast OK but someone should have noticed by 9am that the hot food was not hot. Won't stay again, insufficiently professional.

Great property more of an aparthotel but we had a superior room with fantastic views of Dieppe harbour. Right next to loads of restaurants. Highly recommended.

We have been ripped off at this hotel . A bill for £238 was added to our bill by night staff when we were in bed and asleep . We challenged and there was no payment receipt from us -despite challenging 3 times including whilst at the hotel we are £238 poorer which makes this hotel terrible value for money . Parking is poor and I ended up parking and paying elsewhere . It’s a fantastic location but we have a very bitter taste in our mouth .

We wanted a nice hotel for a one night stay close to Dieppe harbour. La Tour aux Crabes was perfect. It is a very attractive old building with a very modern interior. Our room was spacious, and comfortable, with a balcony overlooking the harbour. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was good. The hotel has a spa with a pool. Tip: if you’re taking a car, ask in advance to reserve a place as the hotel has very limited parking (and it’s extra).

The hotel itself & staff were excellent. Most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on! Immaculate room! My only complaints are that it was hard to find - signage poor, parking carried an unexpected charge of 17€ and there was an additional, unexpected refundable deposit of 100€ on top of the room. Nowhere in the hotel descriptions was this highlighted. It was very windy with heavy rain when I stayed and even though I was on the third floor, the noise on roof surfaces and in the air con venting was incredible & kept me awake!! A shame because the hotel itself was lovely!

The rooms were very good, but not enough coffee, no milk available in the fridge. The receptionist booked a taxi for our return to the ferry, it did not turn up and on a further call it was if it does not turn up walk to the ferry. We were all pensioners aged 60-73 years of age and dashed to meet a check in time. A service offered was not good as the taxi firm was not reliable. The receptionist offered a service which was not met at all and she did not seem to care about our dilemma or offer any options.

One of the best hotels I have stayed in. Both check-in and check-out were courteous, professional and rapid. The room was spotlessly clean, in very good condition and well-equipped including room safe, dressing gown and tea and coffee making facilities. Double aspect windows with views over the roofs to the sea in both directions. The room was fully serviced on both days of my stay (Saturday and Sunday). Overall enjoyable and good value.

The hotel might have been refurbished recently so was pretty nice and modern, we really liked that. I think this is one of the best hotels in the town. The location is perfect, has a restaurant and a patio with view to the port so absolutely amazing. The staff was kind and helpful, however, best if you speak French :)

Fantastic location in Dieppe, and superb views on the harbour. Large clean rooms, great breakfast with homemade crepes and local cheese. Access is a little difficult due to the narrow cobbled streets and to the hotel being in a medieval area. Parking was difficult only 7 spaces on site, that need to be booked ahead of time. Otherwise, there are free parking spaces in the area, had to drive around during our stay because of a funfair. The premises are stylish and clean. The window lock in our friends’ room was broken, however, and we had no full size mirror in our room. Overall very pleasant experience
