We were very disappointed upon arrival to be informed that our booking did not include breakfast with our stay. We were told it’s not included when booking through Expedia. This was not indicated when we completed our booking. A place calling themselves a “bed and breakfast” should be including breakfast. This shouldn’t be notified at the time of arrival.

People that run the cottage are fantastic hosts. Nice breakfast with good value

The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean. Although a couple of insects were found in the bathroom and a few of the drinking glasses and coffee cups were not totally clean (dried on particles). The biggest issue was that there is no microwave available for guests after the kitchen is locked up after breakfast. Guests only have access to 1 mini fridge in the lobby that is to be shared by all 6 guest rooms. Another issue is that there is no table for meeting, eating, or entertaining guests of the paying guests. All of the tables are in the dining room which are behind locked doors after breakfast is over. Finally, one of the owners, who is in the process of selling the property, yelled at my friend that she was using too much electricity by using the microwave to heat up food that she made at her home and brought to us, when access to the kitchen was possible. Also make sure that you speak directly to the owners. Conversations, requests, agreements with the employees (cooks, housekeepers) are not relayed (or denied) by the owner.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Dunhill Cottage. We stayed in the family room and our girls enjoyed both the beds and the space provided. We also liked the water and tea/coffee available in the room. Very clean and cozy inside. Highly recommend getting the breakfast here. It’s a great spread and well worth it for what you pay. Our hosts were wonderful in making sure we were comfortable during our stay. Definitely a spot we’d book again!

Great stay at beautiful property.

Family stop over, the place is very clean and one of the nicest places I've stopped. Being a sales rep, I travel Ireland alot. The family room is comfy and very big. Shower is really nice. Area is nice and has some good pubs around for food.

Great little place just outside of Belfast. Owners were great and communicative.

Too far from the city. The owner is very nice. Kinda scary. I hit my head so many times from the bedroom because it was an attic converted to a bedroom..

The owner and staff were very friendly. About s mile walk to the centre of the village which has a good selection of restaurants and bars.

Beautiful property, spotlessly clean. Very comfortable beds. Quiet location. Greeted warmly by host on arrival. Amazing value for the quality. Highly recommend.

Dunhill Cottage staff were excellent even though Expedia was very poot and messed up the booking

Peter’s B&B is amazing I’m really recommend specially if you travelling with dogs , I really enjoy my experience
