Amazing property and staff. Thanks for the hospitality

Outstanding hotel in every way! A beautiful setting, amazing views and exceptional rooms/villas. If you want something special, then Sanna Ubud is the right choice. We had a butler pool villa - absolutely exceptional and the staff are amazing! They can’t do enough for you. The area is perfect - close to all the attractions you might want to see when in ubud! I would 100% stay here again! Highly recommend !!

Beautiful resort grounds however food at the hotel was not great! Our room was close to the restaurant and we could hear the music playing all night even with our doors closed. One of draw cards to this place was its Spa. Unfortunately during our stay the travelator was not working due to maintenance which would require a steep climb of 100+ steps back to the resort. Not ideal and we weren’t notified of this until our check-in. Understandable that maintenance needs to take place but please don’t keep changing the days of when this would take place as it meant we had to keep changing our spa date which then led to not being able to attend the spa as there were no available times when the travelator was operational. Mozzie spraying also took place during our time there and again not prior warning this would happen before our checkin. This place has the making of being a superb 5 star resort but needs to learn the finer details in what makes a resort stand out from the rest. Good food, communication and attention to detail (in my opinion).

We stayed at the Sanna Ubud for our honeymoon and overall was a very pleasant and enjoyable stay. The food and live music / Balinese entertainment was a great addition. Our room came with an infinity pool and also included a flower bath upon arrival to celebrate honeymoon. We would highly recommend Sanna.

The hotel is really beautiful, you get the WOW effect upon arrival. The staff is the nicest people we ever met. I think is one of the most beautiful hotels and views of UBUD. The landscape, the common areas, the spa, the restaurant… everything is just amazing! Our Butlers were amazing, always ready to help and taking care of every detail! The only negative that we can say is that water of the private pool in our villa was so cold we couldn’t use it and, due to the high humidity of the area, the villa has a smell of humidity quite intense. The staff kindly gave us some incense so we would mask a bit the smell. Also, we found that it wasn’t nice that when you order a taxi, the hotel makes 2-3 times more money than the actual driver. Instead of just calling you a taxi, they pay the taxi and charge you for x3 the usual rate.

The people

Our stay at Sanna was good! The staff here are superb and really go the extra mile to ensure that your stay is enjoyable. The spa is absolutely excellent and we also enjoyed the Yoga on the platform by the Spa. However, I would say that given the price paid the villa was in complete shade all day, inclduing the pool and lounge chairs. This meant that we didnt really use the space and used the larger pool instead. Also, whilst the staff were superb the food here was just ok.

I had a truly wonderful experience at Sanna Hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, with a relaxing atmosphere and very clean, well-maintained rooms. Every detail, from the comfortable beds to the delicious breakfast, showed great care and quality. The location is also very convenient, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. I highly recommend Sanna Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable stay. It’s definitely one of the nicest hotel i have visted.

The Sanna Ubud is absolutely magical. From the moment you enter, the serenity washes over you. The rooms are extremely comfortable and beautiful with generous plunge pools that make you feel both luxurious and somehow grounded. The food is delicious, and the care of the staff is absolutely unmatched! Do not miss the spa, even if you just go down to see it. It’s a few miles outside of Ubud proper, but GoJek rides are easy and cheap. We will absolutely be recommending Sanna to everyone who will listen!

Everything was amazing Beautiful villa with the private pool overlooking the Ubud jungle. The food was great. Incredible staff.They made my birthday so special. Yudi did a beautiful job with the flowers in my pool. I highly recommend the Sanna

incredible staff and beautiful peaceful resort make this a great choice. yes it’s expensive but worth it. the area around the resort is very quiet so restaurants etc need a taxi but you really won’t want to leave anyway. it was my second trip and won’t be my last.

First of all I would like to thank Wawan, Leonk, Angga, Jaka, as well as all the other amazing staff members who made our stay the most wonderful experience while in Bali! There was not a moment during our 4 night stay that me and my girlfriend were not cared for! The most impeccable service worth every dollar. Our accommodations was the Butler Valley Private Pool Villa in which we stayed in the most beautiful room with everything we would need at our reach. Every time I walked into my room I wanted to take a dip in our pool. The restaurant located on campus was the best food we’ve had while in Bali. We actually preferred to dine in the resort for breakfast and dinner several days during our stay…they offered many activities but unfortunately I could not do them all. We did fortunately try a couples massage in which we were so relaxed after a 20 hour flight, we nearly slept during the massages. Lastly, this stay along with the people here will forever be in our hearts and memories, as they held a beautiful private dinner for my and my girlfriend in which I also to the opportunity to make her my fiancée! The staff were even more amazing when we mentioned we were waking up at 4am to leave on a tour for a temple, they even prepared small breakfast pastries to take on our trip. There is not enough ways to say thank you to all the individuals who made our stay a wonderful experience, I really mean that! I hope this review come close to showing my gratitude!

Beautiful property in the jungles of Ubud overlooking a valley! Our villa was fantastic with a private pool, spacious room, very comfy king bed! Loved the main pool which was very calm and serene. Vanara restaurant was excellent in terms of food selection and service is top notch! Our favourite part was the spa in the evening overlooking the jungle and hearing the sounds of the river running through the valley. Everyone working here is attentive to your needs. Will def stay here again!

Beautiful resort. Very quiet and the staff are amazing. The rooms are large and you feel like you’re all alone in the jungle. The pool is not heated but is very nice and larger than expected. The food is great with many options

Best thing for our vacation was stay in Sanna Ubud. We enjoyed villa, pool, bar and restaurant and indulge in spa. Location was perfect for multiple trips to surrounding Ubud. We will definitely be back here.

This resort was excellent! The service was fantastic. The food was great. I especially enjoyed the breakfast. The views from the restaurant were amazing. Every detail was handled to perfection. I highly recommend.

Everything was amazing!

Our stay far exceeded expectations wrt service (butlers, restaurant and spa staff), food quality, restaurant and overall ambiance. We loved our 5 night stay in a Butler Valley Pool Villa, which was very relaxing. The afternoon rain storms were fantastic! We had several treatments at the spa and three private yoga classes, which were all excellent. The spa location and setting are sublime and fantastic! Raditya “Mr Sun” gave excellent private yoga classes down by the river. Unfortunately, we didn’t get the therapists’ names but they were great too. While we enjoyed our stay, and would definitely return, this property (or parts of it) isn’t for everyone. It’s located on a steep hillside in a jungle, which is great for ambiance and views, but it might not be the place for anyone that isn’t comfortable with steep slopes and narrow, steep uneven stairs. There are golf carts for access to the upper levels of the resort only. The spa and lower area is currently only available by steps, but a new funicular/elevator is expected to be operational soon.) It may not be suitable for people with limited mobility or small children. Butler suites are worth the splurge. The butler team uses WhatsApp messenger to keep track of guest requests across shifts. Very organized. They’ll arrange room service and anything that you may need. We were in excellent hands with Yupik, Angga, Wawan, Jaka and Dedy covering the shifts. The restaurant and housekeeping teams were all also very attentive. Thx
