My bathroom light did not work and the shower door would not close and the pool was not open as promised and the staff , did not care

The hotel does not offer late night or early morning airport shuttles. The taxi fare each way was about $60. Not sure what last pick up time is but the shuttle does not bagin until 7:00 am. Nice hotel but pick closer one to airport that has shuttle service.

Although I stayed for only one night, I had a wonderful stay. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast is always one of the best parts of staying at doubletree. Tbe only issue I had is hotels.com says it offers free breakfast, but that was not the case. Other than that, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

We checked in for 1 night the room was clean but the ac unit sounded like a tractor everytime it went on startling my husband and all night also the hallways reeked like marijuana making its way to our room and the toilet kept running all night. Needlless to say our comfort and relaxation went out the door.

Everything was neat and clean. Very friendly front desk staff.

The staff

There was shaven body/pubic hair everywhere in the bathroom. So much of it that it was balled up on the floor next to the shower. It was also all over the counter top in the bathroom. The toilet seat was awfully damaged and dirty. The refrigerator wasn’t working and smelled horrible. The front desk didn’t even offer a replacement room nor a working refrigerator.

Really great place to stay for a night out and to a concert!

Pleasant stay as always. A little noisier than normal but I’m don’t usually stay on the second floor. Love the staff sooo much!

Everything was great from the staff to the room itself. Had one issue where we had to evacuate but other than that I’ll definitely be coming back to stay again!

Welcoming staff Hotel shuttle avaialable this is a plus as its further from airport. Hotel itself a bit dated.

There were marks and stains on every price of furniture in our room. My girlfriend pillow had stains and a blood mark on it. Our toilet was weak flushing and actually flooded. The plunger and staff were hard to find. Staff was very nice and personable.

I was disappointed with this Doubletree experience. I stayed here due to a flight cancellation that caused me to wind up in Charlotte on a late night flight. I got into the hotel around 1AM and the front desk attendant treated me like I was inconveniencing him for checking in. I asked for a warm cookie (a trademark of the brand and the reason I chose this hotel) and he told me guests who check in at 1AM don’t get cookies. Not the kind of reception I expect to receive from a Hilton brand after a stressful day of travel. The hotel is also in need of cleaning, updating and mildew treatment. The room smelled of wet mildew and the toilet barely flushed. The front desk looked like a desk in a maintenance department and the main elevator and lobby were dirty. The positives are the daytime staff were friendly and accommodating. They offered me a cookie but they have gone from fresh baked to packaged and allergen free (killing the signature of the brand) so I declined and decided I will no longer be staying at Doubletrees.

Lots of food options in the area, parking lot is huge but had to pay for parking and they have those remote police surveillance stations set up in the parking lot so that was a little off putting. The check in process was long, only 1 person at the counter so had to wait atleast 40 mins. Room was clean though and need was comfortable.... fridge food not work. Overall, i think the price point was too high for the amenities and environment but i would not shy away from stressing her.

After spending almost a week at the Doubletree Miami, we spent 2 nights at this Doubletree. We didnt like a few things but what annoyed me the most was the fact that we had to pay $2 for every single bottle of water. Not even 1 bottle in the room as a welcoming gift. Ran out of hot water while showering.Older property, cheaper than others in the area for a reason.

Front date was friendly and knowledgeable about things to do in the city.
