Great place to stay

Overall, the room and stay was ok. The room was clean and spacious. The one item that caught my eye, the grounds were not being taken care of, the grass was 10" tall in some areas. Although it is difficult to determine who will be troublemakers, the second night on the 3rd fl where our room was, there was chaos in the hallways 11 pm till 1 am, loud screaming, loud argument talking and doors slamming. I called the night manager and he did come up and confront them. I told him he should call the police, he did not. When the disturbance continued, I called downstairs again and complained and the first manager I spoke to had stepped out. I cannot confirm if this person came up to check on the problem. On Sunday morning, we asked the person checking us out for a credit for one night and she declined to do so. I believe that Hampton Inn owes us a one night credit.

1-Star Review This was one of the worst hotel stays we’ve had. Check-in took over an hour due to a power issue—not ideal, but understandable. What followed was not. Our first room (222) was musty, the A/C was covered in insect wings and didn’t work, and the room phone was dead. After waiting again, we were moved. The second room had sticky floors, and later we found a large roach on the ceiling. Staff came with a broom and bleach, saying maintenance isn’t available at night. They offered to move us again at 11 PM—no thanks. Upstairs guests were loud until past 1 AM, and finally settled down AFTER our 2nd call to the office. after finally falling asleep, I was bitten by a bug in bed. No one offered compensation at checkout even after we explained the events. A manager later called me and said we’d get half off. That’s not acceptable. We’re requesting a full refund for this awful experience. Still waiting to hear from the GM. Tried to add photos, but frature isnt working.

Our one night stay was excellent.

Clean and convenient

The breakfast was poor. A cooked breakfast consisted of frozen 'plastic Spanish omlette,plastic rubber frozen sausage, and dry fried potatoes. Where is the Bacon, and Scambled egg ? For this price other Hotels are better value for money. The Online piicture of the Dade City Town building gives a deceiving impression of the Hotel frontage when you are looking for a hotel in the City.

At 10:30 pm we were wakened by shouting of arguing people next door and the persistent yapping of a small dog. It took several calls to the desk before things settled down at around 1am. I felt like we were sleeping in a dog kennel. No more Hampton Inns if I can avoid them.

Lack of hot water in the morning.

I booked a king size bed and they sold out of the king size despite my having a booking for one and I had to take the queen bed room

Staff was very courteous and helpful.

The shower water did not get hot.
