Nice, functional and charming hotel - top location in the harbour with sea view. Good breakfast, helpful staff. Great social area at the lobby - place to play games or stay for drinks in the evening. Great running and walking opportunities around. Visit to Dodekalitten (short drive) is a must!

Cute harbor area where sail ships pull up to moor every night. We ended up moving across the hall after the first night to a larger room that looked out on the harbor and had a cute little balcony where we sat and enjoyed a “picnic” dinner while watching the sail boats pull up for the night. It is also an area that might have inspired Hans Christian Andersen because of the large number of white swans swimming on the waters. It was 100 DKK (about $15) more for the larger room per night but the view was definitely worth the upgrade. Typical good Danish breakfast and helpful staff were appreciated. We enjoyed staying in this quiet area of Denmark on our driving tour.

Lovely area, staff very friendly and helpful. pointed out nearby places to eat at the harbour. Nice area in the conservatory with a selection of drinks and board games available. The hotel is a converted police station. Overall a very relaxed stay.

we particularly loved Svenborg/great harbor and loved staying right at the harbor excellent restaurant: lively not stuffy and excellent food helpful/friendly staff

Very nice location in Nysted, right across from harbor. Beautiful view, the hotel staff is accommodating, but very small. There appeared to be only one person running the front desk and cleaning. She was kind, although we asked if we could stay an extra hour before check out since the wedding we were attending a half hour away was starting at 1PM, and were told no because they had to clean all of the rooms before next check in. There appeared to be only 2 other guests in the hotel that night. The rooms are European style, very small, as is the bathroom, but it was a good stay.

A very nicely located Hotel with limited but good restaurants nearby. Suitable for a nice and relaxing walk in the neighborhoods.

Fremragende og hyggeligt lille hotel med udsigt over havnen og Nysted nor. Dejlig morgenmadsresturant, der også er hyggeligt opholdsrum.

Hotellet ligger fint vid hamnen och fasaden är så vacker och romantisk. Personalen supertrevliga, rummet (nr108)med havsutsikt var rymligt och fint. Heltäckningsmattorna både i rummet och trappan hade sett sina bästa dagar, duschen hade lite dålig tryck, frukosten ingick och var bra och allt som allt var vi supernöjda med det mesta boendet.

Dejligt hotel med god beliggenhed. Venligt personale. Gratis parkering.

Jeg skulle tidligt afsted næste dag - glemte at tjekke hvornår der var morgenmad, som viste sig at være en time senere end min afgang - men det fixet de på hotellet, så der var dejlig morgenmad og friskbrygget kaffe til mig inden min afgang. Super god service i top klasse med et smil.
