Our room smelled, was not the cleanest. Our toilet was blocked. Our kettle was put on the upside down plastic bin, not very safe, or hygienic. We had one coffee cup for the two of us. The biggest surprise was the verhanda, it was unkept, not keen to step outside. The ceiling obviously had a leak and was very stained. The new bathroom was clean, but the shower rose had water from the top and bottom, bit afraid it might fall. What a disappointment for accommodation, but the Bistro did look clean, but no breakfast available, so not sure of the quality of food.

I booked a twin room and was given a queen bed. So I cancelled the booking as it was not suitable

Food was great, when I got here on Saturday the balcony table had all this rubbish on it today is Tuesday and it's still there. On Sunday at 4pm I said there was no toilet paper at 10pm I had to enter the bar in my pjs and ask for toilet paper. On Monday night I reported at 6pm that there was a water leak in the toilet and it was leaking all over the floor of both toilets and instead of cleaning it up just a sign was put there, slippery when wet. I approached a young lady staff member with brown hair 2 hours after I reported it and I said what if I slip over in the night and she laughed at me. I wasn't impressed by that. Not happy at all, it seams that we that stay in the rooms are not considered as patrons won't be back

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Pub has a nice historic feel combined with a fresh look of renovated modern dining.

Yes, the linen was fresh and beds comfortable. We would have liked aircon as we had booked Oct 25 and were only ones without it. There was a jug and cups but no coffee or tea etc. The new bathrooms were lovely. We would come again as good for the price. Great breakfast too.

Couldn't even bring myself to stay there. Room was a sauna, staff unpleasant, amenities average... Waste of $80

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathrooms were clean and modern. A shaving mirror in the men's bathroom would be helpful. Extra hooks in the bathrooms would be great. Very good value.

Very clean room bed was comfortable. Had aircon and smart tv. Bistro and pub downstairs for dinner options which was great

The room was clean and tidy.. it was not the room we booked but we were able to access the men's bathroom easily.

Check-in was a bit slow (took around 45 minutes), but once that was sorted, everything went smoothly. The room itself was clean, simple, and felt safe. Bathrooms were shared and separated by gender — I never had to wait for a shower or toilet, which was a plus. The only downsides were the sheer curtains letting in a fair bit of light at night and some traffic noise from the road, so it might not suit light sleepers. Otherwise, it was a comfortable stay overall, and I’d still rate it four stars for cleanliness, safety, and it was great value.

The room was clean and satisfactory for budget accommodation. The restaurant was very good. There was an inside restaurant and an outside undercover restaurant with outside bar and a large screen for watching sport and music played throughout the area. The staff were friendly and approachable and nothing was too much effort.

Very basic accommodation. No tea or coffee facilities in room. Shared bathroom was clean but no mirror for shaving etc. Pillows old and uncomfortable. Food was excellent but wait staff seemed uninterested in giving service.
