The first room was not made up the mattress had a heap of stains

The room was clean and tidy and fairly modern

Good for one night. Room ok. Shared bathroom badly needs upgrade. Light is on a timer so left in the shower in darkness even though it was not a long shower. Toilet cubicles small and difficult to get in and out of. Room was warm and beds and linen clean. Dining room and bar very nice. Would be an A class hotel if rooms and bathroom were done up.

We were very happy with our stay but would have liked and extra towel.

The hotel/bars/dining itself is very good, however the accommodation was terrible. Peeling paint, threadbare carpets, clean sheets but a stained blanket. No tv, no crockery (even though there were teabags, coffee and a kettle!), and the unisex bathroom was obviously designed for skinny males. I discovered the female bathroom around the corridor, which was marginally better. For $10 more, I have booked a different hotel for my return journey, which has all the necessary amenities in it. Disappointed.

Would not stay again

The location is perfect in walking distance to train station and restaurants. The hotels bar in really good as well. The rooms are not in good condition and not hygiene.

We stayed in a three single bed room. With a shared bathroom. We arrived early and were told that we could not book in till after 2:00 p.m. fair enough maybe they were cleaning the rooms. The room was clean . The shared bathroom was dirty with dirty toilets and dirty floor we complained and asked for them to be cleaned which they did get somebody to come and clean. But after waiting for two hours to check in I would expect that the bathrooms would have been cleaned this was unacceptable after all there was only us that was staying there besides somebody else in another area which had an ensuite. 88 dollars a night fair enough you get what you pay for this could be a really nice place if it was cleaned up have spent too much money renovating downstairs need to lower the price for the upstairs area.

Room was dated as paint was coming off ceiling. Bed mattress seems to be very old, very soft. Bathroom was very squeezy getting into toilet.

The management just focuses on the pub/restaurant at the ground floor and the accomodation on the above floor is totally neglected. Dirty cups, no room service, equipments in the room broken, loud aircon, peeling paint everywhere are some of the real issues. Apparently they ran out of sugar packets on our 2 day stay which shows the seriousness of management in maintaining the standards. Only positive thing is the location and it's proximity to shops.

Bathroom was full of mosquitoes. Aircondition cover was off and you can see the dust in the filters. People were making noise outside, which can be heard inside even with windows open till 1am

It was a lovely place to stay! So happy I went

It wasn’t horrible, but for not being much cheaper than other places I’ve stayed in this area, I would have expected more. It didn’t look like they vacuumed the room at all, there was a chocolate rapper on the floor next to the bed when I got in, the tv barely worked, the lamps didn’t have globes in them, the mugs were layered in dust, and I was woken up at 6:30 each morning because the room was a lit with light that the curtains barely contained, not to mention there was no hand soap, body soap, shampoo or conditioner. I wouldn’t stay here again, the only good thing about it is that it is really close to the main shopping area.

Room was filthy. Hadn't been vacuumed for some time. Black spider and web next to air conditioner. Very out dated and in need of renovation. Over priced for the condition of rooms. Would not recommend.
