The location is right in the heart of Malioboro. Just a five-minute walk to Malioboro Street, and less than a five-minute walk to Tugu Station.
I was a bit surprised that the hostel didn't have blankets. Adding a blanket and towel costs 25,000 Rupiah. It's a joke. Without a towel, it still makes sense. This is a blanket (thankfully, I brought a sarong everywhere).
The pods are very spacious, but unfortunately, the doors can't be locked, and neither can the rooms. Although the pods have small lockers with locks, it's a real challenge if you bring your laptop and want to play outside.
The hot water is top-notch, and it doesn't stop even after a long shower. There's a free-flowing hot and cold water dispenser. I booked a dormitory yesterday, and it only had two people.
It's worth a try. Hopefully, blankets will still be provided in the future, and the pods can also be locked, considering the numerous competitors around the property. Although the dorms are still secure, they don't make you anxious or cold, haha.
