My first inclination is to say WOW! Our stay at aparthotel libre was more than I could have hoped for for my long time dream of visiting Paris. My adult children and I stayed in a 5th floor corner apartment with multiple French doors opening up to a wrap around balcony. The views were beautifully Parisien with lovely facades all around and a church that welcomed each hour with beautiful bells. The neighborhood in which the hotel is located is vibrant, and accessible to grocery shopping, cafes, restaurants, and transportation. Nearby bike rentals made getting around the area and over to the tower and arc a fun and very European experience. Bike lanes all around made travelling on bike feel manageable and safe. The wonderful staff at Aparthotel Libre were kind, helpful, and supported me in my practicing French after many years since last speaking it. The apartment was cozy, comfortable, and felt like home during our stay. The laundry room was appreciated, and there is a small gym that I would have used if we weren’t walking and biking all day every day! Would 10 out of 10 recommend this property and definitely want to return to it in the future. Thank you to the staff for everything!

We have an excellent day studio apartment was sparkling, clean super well amenities and beautifully decorated. The staff was lovely and the luggage room for dropping off our bags was incredibly handy. My only complaint is the noise if you are on a street facing room, nothing a pair of earplugs won’t fix.

Nice location and well maintained property. Great having laundry and a luggage storage room. My biggest issue was the nickel and diming. They can’t decide if they want to be a hotel or a vacation rental, and the blend is annoying, with a needed emphasis on hospitality. We had 4 adults for 5 days, and they didn’t supply enough toilet paper. When we asked for more, they said we had to pay. Our shower leaked heavily and the bathroom was super wet and slippery because the door doesn’t seal properly, and they questioned us asking for more towels and again suggested charging us. They look for every opportunity to upcharge you. I did find Ali to be very nice and accommodating, and he was great when my friend got really sick. Location is great and we loved the layout and the balcony/view.

Hotel is on a main street (Blvd Sebastopol) and half a block from a Metro station, so getting around was easy. A downside is that Blvd Sebastopol can be very noisy, especially with police sirens up and down the boulevard. The Marais neighborhood is wonderful.

Good location in center of Sarlat. Entrance is on a small street off the main street and was hard to find at first.

Very clean, modern place with very comfy beds and pillows. Good location close to lots of restaurants. Only downsides were that the rooms and living area are very small and it’s on a pretty noisy street with cars and sirens though the windows blocked out most of the noise when closed.

Would stay there again. You get your own apartment with a stove, oven, refrigerator, and dishwasher as well as pots, pans, dishes, silverware, etc. You also have a balcony with a small table to have coffee outside. The apartment was beautiful, but tight with the sofa bed opened. We had to move a stone coffee table to open the sofa bed. There are no drawers. Our room has a closet with shelves, but our party's other room was a little smaller and did not have the closet. It was very conveniently located by the metro and tons of cafes and bakeries around. There is also a grocery across the street where we could stock our fridge. The most important part of the hotel was the air conditioning because we hit a heatwave of 90 to 95 degrees every day we were in Paris. For the most part it was quiet, but you could hear large trucks once in a while and one or two nights the bar across the street had people spilling out into the street that we could hear.

Super clean. Simple check in. Helpful staff. The best part is that the rooms had air conditioning, which was wonderful during the heat wave. Rooms were modern and large. Marais district was great.

Great location, other than the noisy street. Lots of sirens. Everything new and clean inside and enjoyed the small deck. Was nice to use the mini kitchenette. Could use some wash clothes and oven mitts. Service was great, very responsive. Could use WhatsApp to communicate.

I stayed here for one week in May 2026. I communicated with the property exclusively online. From the point of check in to check out, I didn't interact at all with staff. You are provided a door code for the main door to the property and to your unit. I found this to be a little worrisome because I don't know how unique the codes are to the rooms or what would happen if there was a power outage. I found that the first night I was here, it was extremely loud. It seems that the location is right on a main road and there are often noises from the "public" that can keep you up - between people yelling, sirens, etc. it can be hard to get the best sleep ever. The rooms are nice enough but it seemed pretty steep to get the rooms serviced to get sheets changed, or really anything else. I found the property to be pretty minimalistic - it's essentially hallways of rooms next to each other. There is very little lobby or other space (there is a gym) but not much else. They will charge you for additional luggage storage, coffee, creamer, etc. There seems to be a lot of nickle and diming. Next time, I'd pick a traditional hotel.

The staff was very helpful, communication was great via email and through the online check in and check out process. Property is well located. I would recommend saying hello to the person at the front area before going to the room as there are signs with info that I wish I had the first day. For example, the room does not have a luggage rack but you can ask for one. Great experience overall. Thank you.

Had everything one would need during their stay in France including a sizeable freezer that can fit up to 14 bricks of beurre. Very close to the mall and train as well

Great location, beautiful apartment that was exactly as shown in pictures. We loved having the little balcony and found the suite very comfortable for 3 adults.
