Perfect for our overnight stop - we were late 11.30pm no trouble for them,

A very comfortable stay

Excellent choice. Well worth our detour from motorway for overnight stay and to benefit from restaurant. Secure parking and peaceful, relaxing setting. Well run and friendly environment.

Very comfortable stay, interesting Michelin star meal, helpful service. Very poor internet, very slow with coverage only in reception.

Many, many years ago we had stayed at the Auberge run in Colombey by the current hotelier's parents and had great memories. We were given a very warm reception by all the staff at this new version run by the next generation, with a little help from Mum, and enjoyed our stay. Traditional hotels of this type are increasingly difficult to find as France is engulfed in formulaic chain hotels with no character and no restaurant. The setting is stunningly beautiful with views across open fields. We stayed in late March so stayed indoors but it looks like a summer stay and outdoor eating would be spectacular. One small point. Its difficult to find your way in and even more difficult if you listen to the helpful locals.

Easy to find this old fashioned style Hotel. The welcome from the staff and the room facilities were perfect. The food in the restaurant is excellent with a wine list to match. Ideal for a romantic away weekend.

We enjoyed our third brief stay at this warm hotel with its innovative restaurant. However when you are located between two churches the Matins bells at 7-00 am can catch the unwary ! Earplugs needed for a "lie in". Sadly on this visit we found the restaurant staff to be somewhat pretentious and quick in speech; making no effort to accommodate "tongue tied foreigners" ?

retirer sans autorisation 50€ alors que sur le site il est écrit que rien ne sera débité, cela est inadmissible, donc la confiance est perdue. -faire de la bonne publicité NON -retourner dans ce lieu NON

Une excellente étape entre Paris et l'Alsace avec en plus l'opportunité de visiter les lieux qui font la renommée de Colombey les deux Eglises

Il faudrait prévoir d’utiliser de l’assouplissant dans le linge de la salle de bains et aussi un mini bar dans la chambre.

Très bel endroit, personnel charmant. Restaurant de classe sur le site. Très bel endroit, très bon moment passé en ce lieu et à cette adresse.

Room comfort was 5 star, as we did not need an extra bed. Breakfast was OK, bread and pastry freshly baked but not a lot of choice in cheeses or other spreads. We will choose this place again when coming back to this region.

Beautiful rooms, friendly staff, nice surroundings, pretty village, a very good Michelin star restaurant on site. Room comfort would have been 5 star, but the extra bed had a disappointing 1 star mattress, so average 3 stars. Breakfast was OK, bread and pastry freshly baked but not a lot of choice in cheeses or other spreads. We asked if it was possible to buy a baguette on the day we left to take with us on the road and the gave us a freshly baked one free of charge, so extra credits for that. We will choose this place again when coming back to this region, but most definitely won't book the extra bed!

Etape calme et confortable avec un restaurant méritant bien son étoile.

Le repas du soir était excellent mais nous n'avons pas apprécié d'attendre pendant 40 minutes avant de recevoir le premier plat et étions prêts à partir. Nous estimons cette attitude très regrettable dans ce genre d'établissement.

Restaurant étoilé. Situation idéale pour visiteurs aux lieux saints du Gaullisme.

Culturel, gastronomique et sympathique

Hôtel très bien dans l'ensemble, nous recommandons vivement !
