Fantastic stay at this lovely hotel. Staff were fantastic, so helpful. We had been booked into a pod which was not suitable for a wheelchair user. Moved into one of the stable cottages which was amazing lots of room. The hot tub was not filled but staff allowed me to use the pods hot tub. The food was amazing and especially the breakfast. Have to join the A1 to get to the hotel only for a very short distance. Really want to return to this lovely hotel. Will go back and stay a few more nights.

Staff pleasant and helpful, good breakfast. Rooms very warm helped to cool via use of a fan. A second fan in each room would help.

Our room was clean, warm and comfortable. Friendly, helpful staff. All meals were very tasty and well presented. Afternoon tea was especially good. Relaxed and peaceful location. Fully enjoyed our stay.

Drab tired room. Shower broken, bathroom extractor not working, loo dangerously close to HOT radiator. Plants blocking bedroom window opening, virtually non existent tea/coffee facilities. Narrow twin beds with double size bed clothes?? Oh yes you can see the sea - the other side of the caravan holiday park. And whilst the food was fine, both the meal and especially the cost of the room were extortionate for poor standard provided. Best avoided.

Brilliant staff. Hotel was spotless

Room was lovely & clean, very modern with some nice complimentary touches. Hot tub was hot as it should be. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Overall lovely stay staff very friendly efficient with prompt service. As a 4 star hotel a few things could be improved like a fridge in the room to keep the bottled water they provided cold, air conditioning but probably would be too expensive to fit due to the age of the building and paintwork here and there needed touching up. There was a problem checking in to the hotel as they asked us to pay again even though we had already paid. They said they would sort it on checkout but this could have worried some guests although we knew we were right so it didn’t bother us. Finally when we went to dinner and wanted to order a glass of wine they did not have any of the first choice of wine or the second choice and they didn’t have that many to choose from if you wanted to buy wine by the glass. After saying that we would definitely visit again and these are just minor pointers as constructive criticism to offer feedback. Thank you for a lovely stay and we will be back on the summer
