Really nice stay and welcoming hotel. car park work well, really nice welcome and helpfulness. really nice and clean room and comfortable bed, nice and quiet room room, even on a main road. great location to town.

It was okay, spotless room but the bed was too firm and uncomfy. Noise from the adjoining street outside is unbearable. Aircon was unusable and very noisy. No kitchen facilities available so had to buy food from a takeaway. TV angle not ideal from the bed.

Excellent position for exploring centre. Friendly welcome. However there were no instructions how to use anything (eg heating) or what facilities were available in the hotel. Nice to have a chocolate in our room, but one between us was a bit stingy!

The hotel is fine - and about right for the cost - but there are clear reasons why I would want to pay more. Good: clean on site bar & gym Good WiFi Good tv options via Firestick Bad: Shower (poor water pressure), heating (room was very cold, could only be heated by a wall mounted unit that shuts off when you leave the room, so the room is cold when you come back to it) no radiator/heat source in bathroom so cold stepping out of the shower!

Very clean. Very comfy bed. Nice shower.Heating didn't seem to work despite asking again about it. Room next door noisy. Woke us at 3.15 am , had to knock on their door. Surely when not busy, rooms can be allocated well apart. This maybe more awkward for cleaning but customer experience should be a priority.Drinking water situation not good. You should be able to drink from a tap not use water from plastic bottles.

Good location and plenty of parking. Rooms cheap and cheerful but clean. Pub is has plenty of offerings and cheap beer

We stayed on New Years Eve night as did not want to battle getting taxis back to South Cave, so booked in to The Carmichael for the night. Room was spotlessly clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel felt safe and secure and with Air conditioning, although we had it on heat to keep the room nice and warm, I can imagine the rooms stay nice and cool in the summer. Super convenient location being in the centre of hull with a car park to the rear of the venue. If parking your car make sure to use the link on the hotel's webpage to the Google map to get accurate directions.
