Comfortable bed

Fairly basic with few frills room but recently converted and decorated. Offers excellent value for money for a one night stay and could not fault the staff, hotel or bar/breakfast.

very clean room but small and stuffy at night. check in staff are amazing and all bar staff very helpful. wifi was very slow and dropped out. some fittings in the bathroom would be helpful

The room is clean. Very basic. The staff varied in friendliness (the bar staff were lovely) we had been warned about the lack of air conditioning but it was very stuffy as the room was quite small. The last night there, there was an incident in the neighbouring room (obviously not the hotel’s fault) but it made for an unpleasant night

If you are looking for a comfortable bed for the night, and nice surroundings then this is the place. For the price you cannot go wrong. Staff were very helpful.

The rooms are very basic but very comfortable. I was nicely surprised at the quality of the beds/carpets, etc

Excellent hospitality however TV in rooms broken had to be moved only had a handful of channels. Room was very warm so difficult to sleep. Overall good and would stay again assuming things get fixed

Nice place

Nice clean room, nice comfortable bed, good hot shower in the bathroom, you can have an evening meal and breakfast although if you leave before 8am you won’t be able to have breakfast. Good wee place to stay

Very clean rooms. No kettles and drinks, Tv didnt work. Very noisy as a live band or loud music was played until 10.00pm. Restaurent/bar full so had to eat out. Reception didnt explain about wifi access on arrival.

My wife and I stayed in room 8 which had a double bed which was alright apart from the fact that one side of the bed was against the wall, which made it difficult for the person on that side of the bed to get in and out of the bed

Comfortable bed however issues with the heating, this was rectified straightaway by providing plug in electric heater.

Overall a lovely stay at the wyken inn. Check in was fast and friendly. Hotel room was clean and tidy. A few black marks on the sheets but nothing grim. Felt comfortable and safe during my stay. Hearing doors slamming very loudly at very early hours in the corridor was the only downside, I understand that this is unavoidable in most hotels. Absolutely fabulous facilities for the price. I know where I will be staying if I find myself in Coventry again!
