We stayed 2 nights and wish it had been more! Our room was lovely.The breakfast was delicious. The staff friendly and very welcoming. It was easy enough to park in the car park square of Warkworth and we used local bus to travel into Alnwick (unfortunately the wait back for bus on bank holiday Monday was long as the one we waited for didnt arrive-think it got cancelled)Would suggest using an app for the bus if you use them as timings did not seem to be reliable.We also went into Morpeth which had some good shops. Amble is a good place to walk down to if you like a walk (and can is on bus route) we saw herons and lots of other birds on the walk there even catching a heron catch his dinner.

Bloody Marvellous From the lovely warm welcome when we arrived to the fantastic breakfast just before we left everything was perfect. The room was lovely but what really made the difference was the wonderful team. The chefs should be made a saints as they worked miracles. See you all again

Lovely place great breakfast

Clean room, staff very friendly, spacious room and ironing board in cupboard, we did have to ask for soap and the milk in the fridge was off but apart from that a very pleasant stay

Excellent Pet-friendly hotel. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. The rooms were perfectly clean and acceptable, the little fridge for fresh milk was a bonus as those plastic cartons are awful. The food was absolutely wonderful on the evening meal, lovely and fresh and pleasantly presented. Breakfast, there was so much choice other than Full English which was a pleasant surprise. All in all everything was wonderful and we thoroughly enjoyed our couple of days there and we will be back in the future.

Staff were excellent, as was the breakfast. The only slight negative was our room was a little warm but it’s better than being too cold. Would definitely recommend.

Friendly reception by staff and easy check in. Room was spotless with lovely big bed, great shower and lots of tea and coffee available. Fresh milk in the mini fridge was a nice touch. Good breakfast choice, the full English was enormous

Lovely overnight stay in a cosy comfortable and immaculately clean room. Staff were friendly and attentive. Food was amazing. Would highly recommend this lovely little hotel.

Genuinely fantastic!!! Staff very helpful and friendly. Room was very comfortable, great shower and facilities including fridge. Food excellent, chocolate cheesecake was amazing!

Lovely breakfast, friendly staff, beautiful room and building

The room was very pleasant but in the roof and was extremely hot, even with all windows open and a fan. The breakfast was excellent. Check-in time is restricted on Mondays and Tuesdays when the restaurant is closed and it was difficult to contact the hotel to make an arrangement outside these times, I had to call many times before anyone answered.

Bertrams is a lovely place to stay in Warkworth. The rooms are very comfortable with everything you need. The staff are really friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We stayed in a dog friendly room which was at the front facing the road. The room was really hot due to the great weather but we were unable to have the window open during the night because of the noise from the busy road. We did however have a freestanding fan which was excellent and very much appreciated. Breakfasts are excellent and cooked fresh. Portions are huge! Would highly recommend staying at Bertram’s.

The accommodation was fine, a bit tired.
