Bar area and beer garden excellent

The room was nice and spacious, but the walls were unfortunately paper thin. We could hear absolutely everything going on in the room next to us, and it seems both beds were placed against the same wall because the conversation of the people next door was very audible. They were drunk and beligerent and would not keep it down until 2:30 AM when they finally shut up. Unfortunately, there's no night porter at this property so the only thing we could do is tell them to keep it down, which they, of course, ignored. There was an emergency number left at reception but we couldn't get in touch. With that in mind, I think the hotel absolutely needs to invest in noise insulation or simply hire staff who can kick out unruly guests at night.

Very well located, close to the centre of Killin and the various places of interest. Plenty of parking, quiet setting. Comfortable lounge area, bar and restaurant. Room was well stocked with tea, coffee and water as well as shower wash and hand soap. Evening food has plenty of choice and very good. I would advise booking as the restaurant got really busy when we were there. Good choice of breakfast which was a buffet style. Staff were really good, welcoming and really helpful

The hotel was fine. Killin is a difficult place to get to if you aren't driving (and it's on a Sunday). The hotel wouldn't help us book a cab from the bus stop that was 3 miles away and a walk on a two lane road with traffic both ways and no sidewalk. We managed it but I would not recommend. Perhaps they don't have enough taxis there but even as I asked multiple times the only thing they told me was that they wouldn't book taxi service for guests. So, a learning curve. The hotel itself was fine. No early check in and they just put your bags in the open lobby if you want to drop them off and leave. I would likely pay a bit more and stay elsewhere next time.

Stay was ok bed was a little hard but each person is different to be far pillows very thin and our shower would not work had to bath and I have a hernia I did mention to staff when leaving so hopefully they will sort that got to say we did have a amazing curry just some small things could make this a very good hotel location gorgeous.

I had a very comfortable stay (only for one night due to walking the Rob Roy Way) at Killin Hotel. The view is stunning, the staff is very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious!

The staff at the hotel was anything but helpful or accommodating! Put us in a room that was not what we booked and did nothing to try to reconcile the issue. Even more, was very dishonest in their reasoning as to why we didn't receive the room we booked. I can't recommend enough to find other accommodations!

I have stayed here many times but never on the 3rd floor, and the room has not been renovated recently unlike the other floors. Friendly staff, good breakfast, easy parking, great views and good value, but 3rd floor rooms are a bit small and dated.

Pleasant staff, clean room, great location for exploring locally by foot or further afield by car.

We had two fabulous dinner’s and their us a bar with a log fire - cosy. There are two other rooms for sitting in also from the bar area.

Open parking area in front of the hotel. Compact bathroom in room 38 and guests in adjoining rooms are easily heard. Meals are good but you dont need to order pack lunches from the hotel as there is a coop 5 minute walk around the corner.

Really nice place to explore the Highlands for a few days. Hotel has everything you need and the village has another nice pub nearby, if you’re looking for alternatives. Quiet location right next to the river. Great value for money.

Car parking was fine, staff lovely, room need a good hoover near window very dirty on carpet, asked for a bed make up next day didn't get one, rooms could do with a paint again as lots of marks on walls near bed. Bathroom bit miss matched in decor, pity wasn't a bigger shower as very small. Over all the stay was good, but for the money we paid breakfast should have been included.
