Hotel needs a revamp. Very cheap and cheerful. Beds weren't comfortable. The bathroom was dated and worn, with bits falling off etc. It served its purpose but that's about it. Pub attached is a nice pub and food was good. Staff were lovely though so nothing bad to day about them.

Second time staying here in the past month. First time was excellent, this time not so good. The bathroom lights didn’t work in the first allocated room so I was moved to another room. In the second room the spare bed was dirty and upon retrieving the extra pillows from the top of the wardrobe, I found them to be filthy. Not just a little dirty, but disgustingly dirty. The lady on reception was very apologetic and helpful, but the standards this time around were well below standard. Such a shame as I thought we’d found a hidden gem at good rates but I would be hesitant to book here again.

We opted for bed and breakfast , the room was just what was needed for the night and the breakfast served in the pub next door was lovely We will stay here Again

It was very basic and the room facilities weren’t great. No sockets near the bed no bulbs in the lamps. Shared toiletries in the bathroom weren’t very nice or hygienic. The pub food was ok but there were so many flies.

Budget stay hotel, worth the money. Taxi into Preston. Decent bar, just not enough staff at breakfast, waited over 45 minutes to get fed. All in all decent stay

We were able to find the hotel easily and there was ample parking. Despite being near a busy road, the room was very quiet (woken up by the birds!). The hotel staff were very friendly and informative when we needed to check out early. The room was tidy and there was plenty of hot water. The bed was comfy. The bar next door has lots of offers on food and drink and the staff are friendly. We ate there both nights and the food was good. Our only complaint was the lack of real ales, but we compensated with what was available. Also great bus links to Preston.

Location was very good and area very safe biggest downfall was wifi and no signal rooms could do with updating a coat of paint would work wonders

Clean and comfortable room. Receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice an staff were good. Very quiet and very good value for money. Could have done with missing mirror that was next to the hairdryer and bathroom is quite small.

The room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. The bedding and towels looked virtually brand new, soft, white, fabulous, spare pillows available for those who need them. Despite being next to a pub and on the main road to Blackpool, I couldn't hear a thing from outside the room, Bliss! The staff (when I eventually found them - no-one on reception on any of the 3 days I was there), were lovely - very kind and courteous, going out of their way to help me park near the entrance (I have a Blue Badge and cannot walk far), and carrying my cases up the stairs. (No lift). Refreshments were topped up every day. Two (very slight) negatives: 1. The furnishings looked very tired, edges of furniture chipped, carpet a bit grubby - time for a refurb perhaps? 2. The shower is over the bath; although it had a non-slip surface directly in front of the shower, it didn't extend far enough to stand on whilst exiting, so a bit nerve wracking! The shower itself was lovely and hot, and plenty of pressure. If all you want, like me, is a clean, comfortable room to stay in overnight, then I would definitely recommend this hotel.
