Tried to check in after booking through Expedia yesterday, they had no information about any booking and are not currently letting their rooms out. I was left stranded, trying to get hold of someone to talk to at Expedia. They left me on hold for nearly 2 hours before I just gave up. Will never use this site again

Doorkeeper turned the guest away - despite prepayment - giving fear of covid as a reason. Guest left at 8pm at night in Southend on SEA with nowhere to sleep

The mattress was extremely uncomfortable. Could not sleep all night.

The price is very reasonable. The rooms are clean and have all basic facilities. The location is excellent. The staff are very helpful.

Not really geared up for hotel guests. Staff were porters. Clouds of rubbish outside front door and some blew in and was never cleaned up. Breakfast for 5 days was 5 paper bags of food left on the first day - do croissants and muffins last five days? Bed was hard an had a waterproof sheet so was sweaty. Couldn't get the broadband to work. No tv, radio or tea coffee making facilities. Apart from that it was fine...
